- My mate Martin was racing his awesome 1930 Bentley 'Blower' at Goodwood Revival. I thought it would be cool to make a film. What happened next was simply EPIC !

The best bunch of Bentley boys driving British Bentley Blowers.....Just blows me away. What an epic race, thorouhly enjoyed it, well done :) Maby a bit more from the oldtimer scene would be well appreciated....
Members of GRRC for several years when we lived in that part of the world, Revival is the very best motor sport event and miss going terribly. To all fellow petrolheads, go if you can, even if it's only once. Great piece as always 👍

I was there 21 years ago with VIP access as my friends wife was running the event. Amazing!

Very brave and very privileged drivers (I.m.o). Watched the race on UA-cam's live stream and the little shortcut didn't seem to slow him down. Well done on another great video 👍👍

These Bentleys must be worth tons of money ?! Awesome that they are used for racing and not collecting dust somewhere in a garage.
Goodwood revival might be the only place in the world where you see £250,000 - 1,000,000+ vintage cars being raced hard.
@@KewlBee Some of the cars raced at Goodwood are worth multi-millions, such as the Ferrari GTOs
This somewhat brings back memories of the late 60's, early 70's and I used to watch the London to Brighton veterans run as they came along the A23 in Sussex. Not that the veterans then were going anywhere near as fast as those in this video.
I'd hate to know the value of those old beasts blasting about and I'd doubt very much, if you had any sort of a prang, you'd be able to take it to your local garage for a quick repair job!
Great to see these old timers running rather than just sitting in a museum.

It is one of my life's ambitions to attend Goodwood Revival at least once. My wife's cousin and her husband live in England. He owns Britannia Motor Works and restores and maintains cars, including Bentley's for a living. I think arrangements could be made.

It was a fab race indeed and to see them running roof up at the start was like watching a grid full of the Ant Hill mob but thats what they used to do for the first hour at Le Mans apparently. Epic drive.

@@PetrolPed i had a Caterham csr 260 which at the time was my 4th caterham.
Upon seeing your video of the 620 r i traded the csr in for the 620 r.
I only use it for the road and i still look at your video from time to time it is such a true reflection of ownership.
In addition i saw your video of the 595 Abarth essesse ((probably spelt wrong as its late) and went and purchased one of them based on you video yet again.
Love both the cars in different ways.
I am watching your reports closley you seem to be my go to guy when it comes to purchasing cars ..
Also got a smart 4 two,you will be pleased to note you had no involvement in purchase choice

Awsome, if it wasn't for the helmets and the racing suits, it would appear Dr Who gave you a lift into the late 1920's.
I noticed a red car in 8.56 that does not appear to have a roof, doesnt that give it an unfair advantage? Is it forced to stop for a period of time?
He had to stop, get out of the car and run round it 5 times ! Sadly I just missed that on camera 😪

Yes. The people driving were either owners or drivers invited to drive the car by the owner 👍
Obviously God also likes Goodwood Revival. 25, 26 and 28C (77, 79, 82F for left pondians) in the middle of September in the UK???

Petrol Ped No my friend, the noise of the engines and the noise of the atmosphere where you are filming, is what we want to hear, not the music.....seriously, can’t you see that?
mvmallinson It depends on the quality of the audio picked up. If it’s not great, which in the case of this film it was not then background music is the only way to sow it together 😟
