Wow that's crazy big. That 🍕looked absolutely delicious. Can't wait to see more videos soon. Keep up the great craftsmanship and hard work my friend. Forge On. Fab On. Weld On. Keep making. God bless.
minute 10 when you go around the bricks, you only put the cement mortar on the wide side vertically, not on the base where the brick rests - I think I understood this - thanks
I'm in Toronto I was looking for the concrete that you used can you please tell me where did you buy it from I looked at Home Depot Canadian Tire couldn't find Thanks
@@Assyrian_Orthodox I built a 38" interior diametor brick oven, I used 250 9" bricks that I had cut in half for the doom. But in total it took about 250 bricks for the entire brick project. And about 200 pounds of refractory mortor.
Hey! Great video! I was wondering how much mortar was required for the entire oven? Also, is the refractory base which is under the bricks required or is it optional (i.e can the bricks be placed directly on the cement base? Thanks!
DO NOT skip the base underneath! It is NOT optional! TRUST ME! Your pizzas will cook 50 times better underneath! I had to take apart my oven floor after I had built it because I didn't add the insulation underneath. It makes a HUGE difference!

I used 5 pails of the brick refractory and the base cement is not needed you can put it directly on a pad
