I was disappointed in this episode and the series overall! You give Gravick super powers in hopes of Killing him! I also don't think he would loss to Gi'ah since he was raised as a soldier of war! It was very anticlimactic for me and a waste of a lot of talented actors! The writing continued to just decrease in quality! It was like a ride that came off the rails! Ep 6 is a 4 and overall the series would get a 5 for me! It was to predictable and alot of the stoy and plotline was ridicules and weak!!!
@@blacprophet1153 Honestly, I don't really know if he's actually dead even if they showed it but with the Kree and that weird timelines alternatives from Quantanium I think Earth need all the power they can get. To be fair, although Gravick had super powers it doesn't necessarily means he knows how to use all of them. The outcome depended on who can adapt faster to the different abilities and make them work against each other faster. The only plot hole I think there is, is how they knew exactly which powers do what especially someone like Mantis. It's not like they actually seen them fight in space or know them personally.
I like how Gravik makes a 5minutes speech to Nick Fury, yet since that actually Giah, Nick Fury never heard any of that passionate speech. Man just wasted years of built up emotions on a fake Nick Fury, they did Gravik dirty there.

Like its like saying “why does it matter if rodey was a sckroll during endgame and infinity war he had his memories” but its just not him is it? The moments between the characters feel alot more meaningless.
Fuckin facts. It was such a great scene & great acting. I really liked Gravik as a villain I kind of wanted him to live after the speech. His death was so lame too he deserved an epic demise at least.

Yeah. I usually don't care for prequels, but if Marvel did a prequel series showing how young Sonya becomes the person we saw here, I'd watch. It could be a more mature version of Agent Carter. I say prequel because Disney is cutting back on spending and they probably wouldn't want to pay Olivia Colman for a regular series.

Either way I think their version of "super skrull" is stupid. Super skrull was special because he retained the powers of all of the fantastic 4 while every other super skrull copied one. But now she has almost everyone's powers so nothing matters, why is Kang even a threat. She can Mimic any of the strongest with captain marvel amp that's dumb.

Secret Wars doesn’t really have any ties to Secret Invasion. Secret Wars is a Multiversal War movie with all Avengers and Villains fighting until one remains, including the mix of Doctor Doom. Secret Wars is the biggest comic book crossover in history with everyone from every Marvel appearance to show up in the movie.
To be fair Civil War wasn't like the comics considering there were many heroes not a part of the MCU. So I would think Secret Wars would be changed a fair bit too.
@@ROFLWAFFLELAWL4 That’s because it was a grounded Captain America film, Infinity War was meant to be a big climatic cinematic event, I’m sure Secret Wars won’t hold anything and go all out considering it’s the final Avengers movie in the new saga and they want it to be better than Endgame.
To answer the question about radiation, in the previous episode when Gravik was on the phone with Fury, he said "bring some iodide pills, the reactor room can get a bit aggressive". Which Fury did, those were the pills that Gravik stomped out (they are supposed to protect the thyroid gland in an event of radiation poisoning). That being said, maybe the radiation was only at dangerous levels in the proximity of the reactor room? Maybe the Skrulls were keeping the people in a different area. I'm no radiation expert, but the compound looked quite sizable, so I wouldn't rule it out.
I mean it could very well be that way. Chernobyl for instance has a weird map of radiation, with spots that are high in deadly radiation and perfectly safe right next to each other.

Yes. I enjoy their reactions but nothing can make up for the disappointment I've experienced watching the downfall of this series! They just tossed together the ending like someone in a dumpster tossing together scraps to make a trash salad!
So Gia’h now has all the powers of the most powerful beings in the Galaxy! She’s essentially like Cell from Dragon Ball Z, only she’s also a shapeshifter and a spy.
Also I hate to say it but the fact that all innocent Skrulls are now suffering the consequences for the actions of the few hostile extremists is far to close to real life. Fury did take advantage of the Skrulls but in the end he was right, humanity is far to fearful and hateful to coexist or even tolerate aliens. It really feels like a preamble to what will happen when mutants are introduced to the MCU.
And I’m so happy that the old Nick Fury is back and better than ever! Can’t wait to see him in The Marvels!
Fury sucks. He set the skrulls up for failure, he needed to hear Gravik’s speech but he sent giah to do his work and then he left earth AGAIN right after the president threatened to annihilate remaining skrulls/non earth beings
Giah and gravik had a deviation of ever superpower individuals not their full potential because remember gravik died and the extremis didn't kick in and heal him.

That’s what they were trying to do with the ambush of his detail, but Fury and Talos foiled that.
I was also confused how the kidnapped humans in New Skrullos survived with all that radiation. Maybe they were being kept underground or in an area that was somehow safe. It could also be possible that whatever technology was keeping them unconscious with their memories on display was also keeping them immune or something. If they're basically being held there for who knows how long, how do they eat, go to the bathroom, etc? Whatever they were linked up to must keep them in some kind of healthy state.
Exactly that made no sense because all of them would have died from the exposure to the radiation!

That just proves that both of them only have partial powers and not the full extent. That's why I think they only transformed one arm with each power and why Gravik did not go Berserk in the last couple of ep.

I don't get how the Super Skrulls were able to duplicate Hulk's powers because Hulk's powers are based on gamma radiation, and it said that the Skrulls were immune to radiation, so I thought that the Skrulls would not be able to replicate Hulk's powers.
The Harvest vial contained some of Hulk's blood and Banner is a special case. He should have died from the radiation, any normal person would. But instead, the radiation affected his physiology and DNA. So I think it was more of a case of Banner's special Hulk blood than the fact that the Skrulls are not affected by radiation. Just my guess 🤷♂
Forget Hulks how did they try to replicate thors powers since his is pure asgardian magic lol

Gravik was built up nicely, until the last 2 episodes where he became a pantomime villain.
I was telling my wife he should have had his speech with Fury in episode 4 then began his decent so you could her he’s hurt and is trying to achieve his goal no matter what. Also shown he just wants revenge and helping his people was second hand
That was the most disappointing turn for Gravik. Like someone else said, they did Gravik dirty. Like, why establish a villain like Gravik only to turn him into some megalomaniac.

Rhodey probably got replaced by a Skrull after Endgame. During the battle scenes during Infinity War and Endgame I'm pretty sure Rhodey got injured and bled (It was red) and if he was a Skrull then, his blood would've been visibly purple or even turn him back to his original form. The Paraplegic thing was resolved when Stark gave him the exo-suit/prosthetic leg thing. But during this entire series I don't think we've seen Rhodey wearing those.
Idk why there's so many complaints about this show. It's cool.

This show was terrible. Not only is it nothing like the comics, they ruined the Nick Fury character. He did more talking than anything else. No superheroes in the show, because they didn't want to pay for it, even though it should have been Skrulls vs Superheroes. They literally had a Skrull beat a Skrull Leader.

Even though I enjoyed this series a little bit.
I felt there is something lacking, final episode is definitely rushed, many plot holes, few scenes from trailers and teasers were not even in the series.
I would rate it a 6.25 / 10 ( As a comic reader, it's a lot disappointing )
But what I wanted from this series only took place in EP 6 where the president announces Skrulls are bad and people going on killing spree. This should at least happen in ep 3 and the story of fight between humans and Skrulls will become more interesting.
I would have love to see, how and when Skrulls replaced major characters as well ( atleast Agent Ross ).
Until now I never lost hope for Marvel Studios but for the first time I felt something lacking.
While there hasn’t been a direct confirmation for how long Rhodes has been a Skrull I think it can only be these three
1. He got abducted while he was in the hospital after the events of Civil War
2. He got abducted somewhere in between the 5 year time skip after the blip and before Endgame
3. He got abducted sometime after Endgame
i believe it was after end game. cause gravik just started the war after the battle of earth and that's how they got all the DNA. fury also said that gravik was the leader for collecting the DNAs

@@ChampionOfHammerfellTbf Civil War makes it pretty clear that without the extra machinery Rhodey can't walk at all, and he has some form of it in every appearance after. It's specifically in Phase 4 that he starts wearing the suit and acting a bit off (in retrospect at least)

I liked this series, but this episode felt rushed. I thought it would be harder to kill Gravik. Also, I feel like the last scene was a node to an old alien movie I remember when I was a kid. I think it was called the First Encounter and they were trying to get to devil's peak to make contact

04:14 basically the whole show.. lol this show was very pointless. I was on-board until the last episode. At this point Marvel just can't make meaningful tv. It's all redundant and does nothing for the characters in 'universe'.
Giah should’ve stayed dead after episode 3. Her non acting ass threw this show off every time she steps on the scene. It’s also a huge ass pull that she beats Gravik in a 1 v 1 with the same powers when we’ve already seen that he’s nasty even without the powers. But hey, why only have one overpowered underwritten character (captain marvel) when you can have two lol.
The standoff with Rhodes was a waste of five minutes. They really crapped the bed on this ending. We saw Gravik survive a shot to the whole face, and now he also has Thor, Hulk, thanos etc and their innate healing added to his own, and he dies from a photon blast through the stomach?!
The pills fury took actually can help in the event of radiation after a nuclear attack in real life, they’re called potassium iodide and are used to block radioactive material
Man this show was Awful!! One small issue of many in here, it being giah to whole time with all the powers already, why in the hell did she give gravik the harvest at all.

So I noticed while going over all the dna that was listed in the harvest, Wanda and Strange isn’t there which makes sense as magic isn’t biological in marvel(though it kinda is as you can inherit it if a parent/ancestor is a magic user) but it isn’t in dna so the skrulls couldn’t access their powers!

Wanda’s magic (honestly magic in general probably) is in the DNA. She’s the one and only prophesied Scarlet Witch after all. She was using powers without knowing spells until WandaVision. But yeah, using spells is a knowledge-based skill, so they wouldn’t be using them without studying them.

People keep forgetting that Fury/Talos also had a tit for tat working relationship like Sonya/Giah. Fury (with Captain Marvel?) was supposed to be looking for a planet for them while they helped him but he didn't hold up his end of the deal. No skrulls held him accountable or helped look with him and he apparently just decided to stop looking...

What do guys think on Rhodey? How long did he got captured? Some told me that he got captured right after the civil war. I know that Gravik plans maybe started after Endgame. But if the Rhodey we saw earlier, team up with Sam, helping Rocket, is actually the fake one, that gave me goosebumps.
Don’t know if its true, but apparently the director of the show has said that he was indeed taken around civil war. I honestly think its more dumb than anything because it flip flops his character

I think my biggest issue with this show is how infuriatingly dumb everyone is. Like yes, rhodes bleeds purple. Just cut him a little bit and youll have your answer. Presidential motorcade under attack? Let's just park across the street and pull out some guns from my trunk to save the day. Fury was kinda dumb. Everything was crazy predictable. It's supposed to be a spy show about one of the greatest spies alive and theres little to no espionage. You're telling me pre-blip Nick Fury worked with skrulls for years and never once developed a contingency for them? A way to identify them? Nothing?? No surprising twists. What could have been a compelling antagonist (a rebel with a true cause) just became a one note, power hungry murderous villain who ended up not even caring about his people. The final fight was meh. A couple well written scenes didn't make up for a lazy plot and dumb decisions. Idk dude. Just none of the show hit for me. I'd keep going but I'm already getting ranty. But glad yall enjoyed it
Bro, Nick Fury in the comics was a badass secret agent who protects Earth from threats the Avengers and other superheroes don't even know about. He was the motherfucking man on the wall. Sniping otherworldly beasts. To see him reduced to this inept old man is disappointing.
Biggest plot hole for me is the radiation. Never noticed till now that even though it's explicit that they hide there because radiation doesn't effect them yet keep human identies there ALIVE with no problems they even leave like nothing's wrong.

It's funny for the species that can transform other appearances, their biology didn't developed any sense that can detect their own species, even in another form.
