    I have the same car (and A LOT of videos on it lol). Love what the owner did with this one, it's amazing how enkei rpf1 wheels suit the mk1 mr2, glad the owner went with them. It's nice to see that there's people out there tastefully tuning and properly taking care of these cars. Thanks for keeping it on the road.

    I like the OEM front lip from the ‘85-‘86. I’ve always thought the ‘87-‘89 front lip was too big, looks like a cheap aftermarket option. I have a 1985 with a 4agze swap with staggered 15” ZZW30 wheels and the plumley spoiler mod.

    I love those first gen MR2's when they have some tasteful, functional body mods and a decent set of wheels. That triangle shape is a little harsh but the side skirts really help it. Dude has cool little car.

    Nice looking aw11! Very clean. I had 5 3/4 aw11's at one stage, only got 2 left now. :( One I have owned for 25 years. Love them. Love the 4ag!

    Hi, miata and MR2 owner here. The MR2 is actually quite a bit less horsepower than a stock miata, and about the same weight. The difference is how much you can rap out the 4age. The TVIS system really makes the upper RPM's sound amazing, which makes you want to just climb to redline. These are notorious for snap oversteer, and you do not want to drive it like other RWD cars. Mid corner lift in a canyon drive can make for a bad day. I'd say that the roll bar is adding 0 benefit. Stock, you can jack an entire side of the car at a single point on the chassis. It's a very rigid chassis with the the rear firewall being directly behind the driver, that roll bar is essentially bolted into the stiffest part of the car. T-top cars won't be as rigid as tin top and sunroof cars, but they are infinitely more stiff than a stock miata chassis. Bushings can make a huge difference on these 30+ year old cars. The car looks to be a very clean example with minimal rust (there's no such thing as a rust free aw11), and interior in good shape, but to really have fun with these you need to look at one that has been swapped to a 20v 4age, a 3SGTE (mk1.5) or a v6 (1mz/2GR). Cheers!

      Krautastic red top for sure. It'd be nice to see a TRD swapped AW11! Or even a rotary:O wish someone would do an awd swap as well.
      Dream build( AW11+rotary+awd TRD rally kit=legend)

    • @Vortrex99999
      @Vortrex99999 7 років тому

      My dream would be twin-charged MR2 Mk1 ;)
      But Krautastic, what point do you mean where I can jack the entire car up. When I look under my AW11 there are just a few places where you can jack up the car but with 1 jack the entire car I would not trust that.

    • @Krautastic
      @Krautastic 7 років тому +2

      Just bought a donor car to V6 swap my AW since the 4age is puking oil. For jacking the car up, what I mean is, you can place a jack right around the firewall between the engine/passenger compartment and if you jack the car up, it lifts the front and rear tires on that side. When I got to the track, if I'm changing out my wheels and tires I do this, but the car is only lifted for maybe a minute or two, and I certainly don't get under the car. If I'm doing work on the car, then I support it correctly with 2-4 jack stands.

    Steering a little loose? On nay car if this is so, drop ur front tire pressure up to and no more that 2 psi. 1 psi worked great for me and no oversteer what so ever

    The 4AGZE only produced about 25hp more than NA, so not much to shout about. I'm gonna drop in a 3.5ltr V6 which will produce 325hp. That's what I'm talking about 👌

    Dude great content but you have to stop talking about you what you think you’re evil and what your favorite steering wheel is. JustAnd advice but you’ve cut the poor guy off so many times after asking him a question as he’s getting ready to answer you cut him off with something about what you feel or what you think of whatever it is that you guys are talking about. I’m subscribed to your channel I hope you’re good at taking constructive criticism. Honestly it was a bit annoying and I couldn’t finish the whole video. I left at three minutes and 45 seconds I couldn’t handle your approach. Again you’re asking, you’re hosting, listening and agreeing goes along way. It will make it a little more enjoyable and occasionally add some of your thoughts to what he saying. Again I’m looking for more Content from you that I’m sure I will enjoy. Again your content is great your approach please adjust. Good luck
