Just bought a red 86 MR2 like the one on this video. Can someone please help on identifying those wheels in the video? I dread looking at the factory OEM aluminum wheels on my car.

Mk1s with staggered wheels handle like pigs! Gotta say though, beauitiful looking rims and rubber. Working projects are always so much more interesting than when complete!

There is a hinge repin kit available from ebay from a Thai seller (ntp_autoparts). Excellent quality, quick to instal and as good as new. Try searching for Corolla KE70 which is the best match but needs the pin trimmed down. 19 AUD for both sides.

that wire on your door is prob connected to a door sensor for your cluster and dome light, just my guess..my celica has a much simple design but doesnt look as pretty

No link, only a few were made on the MR2 boards a while back. It was a template from a group by that never happened.

It's a FWD Corolla chassis re-engineered to be back-to-front, a lot of the Mk1 came from the Toyota parts bin... mostly from Corollas, Celicas and even Starlets.
