Looks like Fernandes STJ-55 to me, this is not STJ-80BT (I have it and it equipped with active F.G.I. PUs). Also painting was trying to reproduce STJ-BT that Hisashi Imai had at early days (moreover "Taboo" written on the back of headstock).
Based on the headstock shape I am fairly certain this is a 80’s era style Kramer strat style guitar. The body appears to be a pine /maple plywood combo which is extremely stable and strong. I would say a candy apple red color or a deep sea blue would have been just perfect. You did a great job. Love the gold hardware.❤🎉
hi that guitar is a Fernandes guitar probably from the late 80s and its the same guitar used by hisashi imai from the band buck tick in the videoclip "just one more kiss" of the 89' but the crucial information is the script "taboo" on the back that is the name of album where "just one more kiss" is played so probably that is a vintage signature from that time. a very rare guitar I suppose.✌
I wanted to be so mad at you for rerouting for humbuckers, but then EVERY SINGLE CHOICE you made after that was absolutely perfect. This thing turned out so, so, so well 🤌 A real shredder! Great job!
I'm surprised you routed that out for humbuckers, because you normally keep your guitar restorations as close to stock as possible. But as usual, this is magnificent work on your part!
Hi Friend, beautiful and original restoration : the overall look of the guitar is indeed upgraded, the golden parts suit this guitar nicely, it was a good idea to place a metal neck plate and replace the pickups. The final result is fantastic ! Thank you so much for sharing your astonishing skill !
DITTO! Weird, that's the First thing I thought. (Guess I have the same fixation...like roundedness). But I ALSO would'nt have DONE all this on a 'pointy' guitar with a PLYWOOD body! UGH! The WORST. But that's ME. And he's pretty young, but Very skilled. He'll figure it out.
it was a rare Applause GTX series, and on top of that it was the super rare GTX- 20, or a GTX-21, knowing how the numbering worked i would lean towards GTX-20. if you look around you can find GTX-18, and GTX-23's for sale, they where the most popular of the series, but a GTX-20, GTX-21, or GTX-22 you never see for sale.

Blown away by your channel! Excellent Job kind of has a Charvel look to it. Gotoh tuners so it must have been an ok guitar pre the ex-owners paint job.
SORRY, but I NEVER would've restored a plywood body to Begin with! For ME it's just FIREWOOD. Kind of like that 'lipstick on a sow' analogy. Just get a GOOD one, esp. since you wanted to MOD it and make it your OWN. Unless it was a paying custie, and I STILL would've tried to talk him OUT of it- in favour of a 'start-from-scratch' Custom Build, maybe a nice exotic wood or super-light bespoke body to your specs. But different generations have different Taste I guess. You are Quite the luthier for being so Young. All the Rest just comes with Time and Experience. I see you are WELL on your Way!! Best of luck. Love your vids, esp. when you START with something OLD, UNUSUAL or Valuable due to it's Uniqueness! Not this one so much. Commercials are annoying. But at Least there's No Bad Music!!
BEAUTIFUL!
The original paint job had so much personality tho
So nicely done! Got a real Charvel look about it now. The colour combo of pink and gold is amazing
That's what I was thinking. It has a Jackson/Charvel or even a Kramer of Hammer look to that headstock. It could be any of those or none of them!
Greetings from Manchester, NH, USA. I absolutely love your channel. I've gotten so many good ideas for restoration from you. Thank you.
Looks much better. Although you should make a nice gloss black pick guard for it. That would really set it off.

matching headstock best paint choice evarrr
Beautiful choice on the color great job nice pickups great Hardware good job well done
Another class renovation you have done, every time 👍🏻 liked the channel since the start

Love this build! Great work
I really love seeing all the amazing transformations on this channel!
I thought you were going to leave it in the natural finish, so i didn't see the color pink coming! Nice work!
I liked your cover version of the song "Foreman's Dog" by Fugazi at the end of the video!
Loved the new look you have it! It's looking gorgeous!
Beautiful work. Great idea switching to Humbuckers. Thanks for sharing.
outstanding color combination good choice of pick ups
This is the coolest one yet!!
Nice paint you put on this one looks brand new now
It's worth having now. Good work.
Great job. I have to say, I thought the original paint job had a certain disgusting charm to it.
You get better with every guitar. This is so good! Thanks for the video.
I love what you've done with that guitar! Great colour choice! Tony Stark would approve
you created a new instrument

not any more.....wont explain the flaw by the controls on the face.....oops..wasnt supposed to notice
This guy did an incredible and tasteful job.
I wanted to be so mad at you for rerouting for humbuckers, but then EVERY SINGLE CHOICE you made after that was absolutely perfect. This thing turned out so, so, so well 🤌 A real shredder!
Great job!
I love that guitar shape. Like a strat without the pickguard. It reminds me my first guitar.

i think its because its an unidentified guitar. looks like they customize it when they dont know what it is. my guess is a jackson though.

The neck is from Ogdni after searching the V55-1 written on the neck. Never heard of Ogdni.
Nice, I'm an 80's kid so that pink is a winner. I'm not a fan of shredder guitars but I would actually play this one after you revamped it 👍.
the original beast from the east guitar
that might be a charvel from the looks of its body but the headstock is neither jackson or charvel
Wow! You did an amazing job in this guitar. Like the red guitar. Congrats!!!!
I love this guys videos, but the way he spray paints drives me nuts 😂 wasting so much paint
I saw George Lynch playing twice with this guitar!
The choice of pepto bismol pink and gold has me confused but quality work nonetheless.
Seems like a fernandes stj. Great job!
Thanks for the great vid! If i might ask however: is this a hobby, a guitar business, or a youtube business? Is this guitar intended to be sold?
Your orbital sander sped up, sounded like a pesky fly. 😂 That looks like an old Kramer or Jackson guitar.
You do nice work, son.
Excellent stuff, where do you find all these guitars?
At the end of the video I noticed a "nick" or small chip in the top??
Truly beautiful work! thanks for playing a variety of styles too.
What a great transformation...I would own this guitar... awesome

Could be something along the lines of a Fernandes STJ55
Really looks good. 👍
The pickups were also from Ogdni.
Stunning!👍✌️
The gold hardware looks great! Vast improvement.
WoW! Looks amazing!!
Amazing jog. Greats from Brasil! 🇧🇷
Very good job!!!
Me personally I woulda kept the single coils
Brilliant! Gorgeous! Love it!!!
👍 good job.
Its a matsumoku built westone.
incredible! you did an amazing job!
this masterpiece is so beautiful. ❤
That bizarre original paint job looks like something Warren DiMartini would've used back in 88! 🤣
Amazing job!
MASTERPIECE!!!!
Amazing job!
6:20 that is SO satisfying.
I personally would have arounded the body a bit more (already bare wood)
But that is my fixation on rounded edges 😅
Nice job, very cool Guitar. O think that bridge Is a bit too Wide, so the strings are almost at the border of the fretboard
Great restoration but I would've left the single coils
I own the same guitar! BT-85, in early 90s
Judging by the backplate, I’d say that this was an Aria
Based on the electronic cover shape, it looks like Jackson or Charvel guitar to me
You're wrong. Its a matsumoku built westone
it's missing a string tree!!!!
Amazing
The things people do to instruments 🫣
You should put covers over your pickups!

I collect GTX and haven't seen this headstock shape yet. Only the Celebrity models.
I've got the snakeskin gtx bass guitar

Great!
Poderia ter feito a retífica dos trastes! Ou troca-los, já que trocou praticamente tudo!😅
Ótimo trabalho!👏👏👏👏👏
This guitar has a daring design, so it would be better suited with topless pickups, they sound harsher and look too harsh
I believe that is an old Charvel from the mid 80s
Or Charvette
Parts are still usable.
