I have the Sun Oven also. I love it. I put mine on a cart so I can wheel it around and follow the Sun..
Do you still use it? I thought of getting a cart to to wheel it to the front/back porch as I follow the sun's position. I'm trying to plan for my off-grid home and am seriously considering a sun oven as a three-season oven and a small wood stove for winter.

@Pat Maier - ANYthing with wheels that your Solar Oven fits on is good.. even a kids little Red Wagon will work.. I have an old Medical Chair "frame" my neighbor threw away and I don't have to bend over once the Oven is setup..

I heard about it from you and Stacy and I like how you talk about all the details and benefits of having a sun oven, I think that it’s a great way to cook and be undetected, and a must have survival tool., especially when you have kids, because cooking can be made with just the sun and no electricity needed., AND THATS AMAZING!!!

Love the sun oven! It has a thermometer - not a thermostat. A thermometer only measures the temperature but a thermostat regulates the temperature.

I received my All American Sun Oven (thank you so much for the 70.00 coupon!) and I was finally able to use it (cloudy the first week). I made Chicken Paprikash (it's like stewed chicken basically) on top and rice on the bottom. It came out perfect. It only took a little bit longer than usual when the sun was strongest. I had considered the other oven because of the 2 pots side by side but because of the temp limitations because of the plastic door, I went with the All American with the glass door. I'm glad I did. I also make cookies and they came out great. I lost track of time & they came out crunchier that normal but we just made ice cream sandwiches - perfect :). Thanks for showing the bread. I'm going to try that this weekend. Again, thanks so much for demonstrating this & for the discount coupon!
Also, the sun oven is really well made - all made in America except for the thermometer- and it came well packaged.

Just an update....purchased the All American sunoven with the discount from the webinar. Made an egg casserole this morning with dehydrated veggies, goose eggs from our neighbor, herbs from the garden, and cheese ( someday we'll make our own 😊).Anyway, I LOVE IT!!! So glad I took the plunge...thanks so much for hosting the webinar, and for your videos on solar cooking!!

Great review. I bought a solarvar years ago and found it difficult to get food to cook thoroughly. From your video I can see the sun oven is a better choice.

I thought three days was really fast because I was expecting it to take a week or so to be shipped. As I have said in other videos where Stacy is cooking in the All American Sun Oven I can't wait to cook in it. Hey Stacy, thanks for the info about turning the phone sideways when I make our videos. Anyway, I use my sun oven all the time. I am just not sure that I have it tilted correctly to capture the most of the suns rays. Is there a secret? I made sourdough bread today. Thanksgiving turkeys are so tender and juicy. I am very interested in getting this oven. I had a question though. My family always fixes 2 pizzas every Tuesday. I was trying to figure out if this rack could cook both of them at the same time in this? MULTI-LEVEL DEHYDRATING & BAKING RACK SET. This is from the solar oven website. I know this would be very useful for most of the things we can fix. I would love to cook up a huge pot of beef stew in this!

I have always wanted to get a son oven because I like to save energy and not heat up the house in the summer. And I live in the Sierra Nevada Foothills in California so we certainly get a lot of heat in the summer! Thank you so much for explaining these solar ovens I definitely have put it on my list of things to get soon. It's always been on my list but it's closer to the top than ever!

I bought the solar oven. I have the other kind but is much more difficult to use. I have to remove the reflector and find a place to set it down then unhook the over in two to four places find a safe place to put it then take the lid off my pan to check on the foodthen do the reverse to continue cooking this looks so much more convenient. Thank You

How beneficial is the white sun indicator box that helps you line up the box to the sun help since the sun (or should I say earth) moves considerably even within an hour's time? Is it really all that helpful?
Round TWO - Tip for you - set up a little folding table next to the sun oven with your hot pads and utensils. Then you don’t have to put pans on the ground.
