Did the vehicle spin over but would not start or you had nothing my R1 I put the ignition on. It’s coming up with a fault. It will spin over but will not start, but the alarm is not bleeping.
Hi I’ve got a datatool bypass plug from datatool which basically does what you have done but the alarm and loom etc are still in place. With this in place I have now got power to the bike but the alarms still going off and I cannot disarm it. Do you know why? I’d ring datatool but tech are not working until Monday.🤦♀️ Any advice would be appreciated.
Hi, sounds like the bypass plug is just for the immobiliser part of the system. Have you tried pulling the fuse for the alarm? That should stop if from going off and the bypass plug should allow the bike to be started normally. Let me know how you get on!
Hi just updating, the datatool bypass plug couldn’t be attached as the fitter didn’t add the easy access plug when they fitted the alarm! I Ended up getting an electrician in to strip it out and the bike started straight away and running fine once it was removed. Successful ending. Thanks for your comments and video.
Great Video, my Datatool Alarm has already been disarmed with the bypass wires like in your Video. But i would like to know how you remove the whole loom.
Hey dude, great video, has almost worked for me! I sorted out the plug/wires etc but when I connect the plug, the starter immediately starts up without the ignition even turned on and won't stop turning over. Any ideas? thanks
Good news… so far! Which plug are you reconnecting? Sounds like there’s a 12v feed being introduced somewhere. I’d check with a multimeter to ground on each pin and then this could tell you where the starter wire is… Hope that helps!
I just bought a bike with a datatool, I think it is draining the battery power so will have to hunt it down & copy this I guess, looks complicated! Was yours just a tracher or are they immobilise too?
I just got a 2003 gixxer with it installed, it literally drains the battery in a few hours then starts going off permanently cause it thinks the battery's being tampered with, what a bag of shit design 😂😂😂 gonna be ripping it out this week 👍

The Datatool box should be the same, you'd need to locate that first!

Mine was an immobiliser too bud, now that caused all sorts of issues when it started to fail!
Just bought a bike with one on and it's constantly going off 😅
