Not quite sure why they don’t have high lift tailgates on these super tens, yes that’s what they are called in California. It sure saves the wear and tear on the tailgate. Not sure about being an automatic though.

Ye what are those little pick-up size wheels for? Is this normal US "dump truck" or some odd variation? For European viewer this truck seems kind of oddball. We have 5-axel dump trucks with (government restricted) load capacity of 17 m3 or around 600 "cubic feet". And max cross weight of these is 42 000 kg or 92 500 lbs. But every single tire has to be same size and have same "tire load capacity". And the rear most axel is a steerable one, up to 20 degree or such.
I wonder how much bigger these dump trucks are in the US?
