Now: 30 year old Andrew "I'm not going to even bother heating this building"
Later 40 year old Andrew: "OK, so today I'm going to be installing a heater in this building"
Give it time brother. You'll have heat in there eventually. I was the same way :)

it's uninsulated steel, you'd go bankrupt heating it. though Andrew does have access to a practically endless supply of firewood so a woodstove would be the only practical proposition.

He said in a previous video during the wintertime: the reason he doesn’t heat it is so when he goes from in the shop to plowing to outside his body gets used to the cold and he doesn’t rely on heat. Plus then he doesn’t have to worry about his plow truck fogging up on the inside

@@chuckkolancz4969 As a Canadian who does most of his work in an uninsulated pole barn, I'd say those minor inconveniences loose to heat lol. I'd at least have it insulated so then you have the OPTION to heat it if need be. Nothing's worse than trying To work on a frozen plow truck covered in ice that won't melt, tools sticking To your hands, eye glasses fogging up when your cutting stuff.

15:14 I've never noticed that little set of steps there on the right, but I absolutely love it. It blends in really well, and I know that if I lived there (if only), it would drive me crazy having to walk around the flowerbed every time I want to go right out of the door, so I definitely understand why it's there.
Also: nice to see you're using more real flowers instead of the plastic ones. The plastic ones look fine, but watching plants grow is always part of the fun. Plastic doesn't grow, usually.

And then, at 1.30, you mention, almost as a throw-away aside, about keeping your yard clean. Man, right there, I was sooo glad I watched this video. (And the bit with the snail is a similarly delightful nugget!) I'm 48, and I've slipped into terrible slovenliness during lockdown. I tend that way anyway. But it's gotten right out of hand, everywhere: every room of our home, the front garden, the back garden, my workshop. Everywhere. Thank you sooo much for this B-roll video. It's actually been kind of profound for me... if you can believe it!? Keep well, and keep on keeping on, bro'! With love from the UK.

Hence the bungs on the sides to be vented to the outdoors. One vent high and one low for air convection, as for some fumes rise and some fall.

The very first video I saw of Andrew's was when he was moving a building back in September of 2019. He moved it I believe with the help of a couple of friends and some heavy equipment and I was hooked and I subscribed to him immediately. I just now saw a video entitled "Amish Shed Move" where it looked like about a hundred or more Amish men picked up a building (I'm guessing the size was about 30' by 70') and just moved it to another location. No equipment was involved. All you could see was the building moving and all those legs walking along under it. Amazing! If you enjoyed seeing Andrew move that shed you gotta check out these men moving that building. Shows what teamwork can do.... Of course we know that these are the same people who can throw up a barn in one day because they have so many people working together. I'm obviously not Amish because I doubt if I would be using a computer if I were but I sure do respect the fact that they work together so well.
