I can't understand a word of French, but, this is a good movie and not too hard to follow really. There are some pretty funny scenes and also lots of pretty girls, neat old cars and great scenery .. just a good movie and a really nice trip back to a better time in the world. Fun movie to watch (with English subtitles). France Anglade is beautiful and bubbly, and the film moves at a pretty brisk pace. Worth watching on a rainy afternoon.

I hope to catch this over the weekend. In wanting to read some more about this film, I was directed to Wikipedia, with only the French version available. By clicking "translate", the French review could only be translated into Welsh. I guess I'll watch the film and see what's what. It does seem to be a breezy, light and trivial film. I'm sure to enjoy it.

C'est de l'humour pour les 4-5 ans, désolé. Pour tenir le niveau italien, il faut monter d'un cran, genre "Le Diable et les 12 commandements", "Faites sauter la banque", "Pouic-Pouic", "Une fille et des fusils", etc.

Does it really matter ?…because let’s face it: it is a rather old fashioned movie, I thought it had been shot in 1954 and not in 1964…I had to check on Wikipedia. And it is a quiet stupid movie, what we would call in French « a film made to buy you food » as would say actors, by the way some very good actors such as Philippe Noiret…
Film léger comme ses tenues. Il reprend tout l'esprit des dessins de Jean Bellus, en respectant toutes ses silhouettes sur la pellicule. Dufilho, l'espagnole de Concarneau, en crée une de plus, mais pas la moindre !
Mais personne n'a prétendu que c'était un chef-d'œuvre du septième art. C'est juste une comédie légère. Si tu aimes les films chiants, tu as tous les césarisés.
