I love these guys because they're not afraid of the instrument. They beat the shit out of it and make it sing like it's merely an extension of them. Powerful

instruments should be treated with respect and care and in return they perform how they meant to and you play them, "beating the shit out of it" will only result in unnecessary repairments or if you "beat the shit out of it" too much you may have to replace it.

@@Lachlanii theres just beating the shit out it, then there's being "violently passionate" lol. I think a great part of their charm is seeing how much energy they pump into it and why so many of us are drawn to it. Respect is a matter of perspective as well.

I went to a German restaurant where there were two accordion players going from table to table. My friend (a drummer) yelled "Free Bird" they said they can't play that but, then gave us a hilarious rendition of Dueling Banjos...on their accordions. They got a standing ovation from the very packed restaurant. 👍

I love these 2, their costumes always crack me up. Whatever goes with the music. And oh yes, major talent.
First time I hear this amazing version of Whole Lotta Love. I like the fact that 2Cellos show respect to the song and played the middle part with the sound and vocal effects. Usually when we hear this song on the radio they skip this part, because for some reason the radio producers know better from the creators of the song.

If you ever have the chance to go see these gentlemen in concert, I urge you to do so!! A night of music/entertainment that you will never forget!!! I saw them in Toronto, Ontario, Canada 11 months ago. AMAZING!!!! I am now counting the days until another opportunity presents itself to see them once again!!

Don't get me wrong, I LIKE the video, it's a very good performance, and good video editing job! (i.e. - the video certainly does not "suck" in any way shape or form). I'm a fan of both Beethoven's original music and Led Zeppelin's original music. But I don't think doing a staged cover version of 2 songs by other artists is considered "genius".

Their renditions of various artists music,... accompanied only by 2 cellos (and very little other instrumental assistance in a few songs), played music in a way no one ever DREAMED of.... It was inconceivable 🤗 !

Cellos ( the instrument) gained new respect from stuffy and boring to awesome and a new sound never heard before; deserving of the talent & respect these guys brought to the stage.
This is a totally original, 2 thumbs up rendition...nothing so original like this has been heard since Peter Frampton in the 70's and his harmonica.

As a cello player, I don't think people understand how hard 2:58 is to successfully play. These guys are incredible, to do it at that speed and as perfectly as they do blows my mind
Henry Thomas - You do realize this is not "live" performance, right? This was recorded on multiple audio tracks in a studio over several days doing various "takes" and a producer engineer editing all the audio performances together. The studio audio is then dubbed over this pretend "live stage" video performance you are viewing. It's still cool the way it's all put together, but this is definitely NOT a "live" performance.

You can drive a supercar to the grocery store, or you can absolutely HAMMER that thing, pushing it to the limits and hear it sing in a mixture of agony and joy. These guys treat their cellos like a supercar on the most challenging track in the world. Whoever is the luthier that cares for their instruments, that person is a MASTER, they push those things beyond the limits, and squeeze every note they produce for the maximum effect.
Oh, yeah! I for one cannot thank them enough. We would never experience things like this.💯
