Right but the most interesting thing is that he didn't value his time like the other composers. Yes, geography probably plays a role, but that's the part I find fascinating. Best study of this would be to analyze the same composers over multiple types of compositions. Looking at speed to completion, variety, and style. That's a fascinating video!

It was the best one that worked WITH your track rather than against it. That was what I was thinking.
Imagine your playing a game about music throughout the years. In the end of the game you go back in time and meet Beethoven after he created the 5th symphony. You are challenged with defeating him in a music competition. This amazing piece is the one you play when going against him. After beating him, you finally go back to the present day and find yourself haunted by his ghost having to play for him once again.
Eventually he teaches you what he knows and disappears. You have finally defeated a musical Prodigy known throughout the world as Beethoven...

I think there are two different elements of “quality” to look at here:
    1) Quality of the sound engineering, which in my opinion did mostly increase with price. The higher priced ones sounded cleaner to me.
    2) Quality of the ideas for accompanying your piece - this is the one that I don’t think increased so much with price. Some of the cheaper options seemed more creatively inspired by the task you asked of them.
I agree with you that the $300 one was overall the best work. Fair play to all of them though - they all felt like solid efforts, nobody who I think is ripping people off.

I agree totally. If you listen to very late works of Beethoven, such as the Grosse Fuge, you can sense something very strange there, like the composer went so far ahead with his ideas that even today we still have a hard time understanding what he wanted to do, and in his lifetime there were critics stating they were unlistenable. However, when Schubert, one of the most dedicated fans of Beethoven, was in his deathbed, he requested a score of just one of these last pieces from the master.

I see a lot of people going with the $75 as the winner, and I actually have to agree
From a piano player point: Nuisances are everything, Pianissimo and Forte are 2 examples that mean Soft and Loud in music theory. It's not like EDM where a standard volume can play most of the time. So this producer was able to catch that incredible buildup into finally dropping at the end! Perfectly arranged! 10/10
From a producer point: Reason I like this one so much is because nothing sounds too muddled. EQ'ing can be so annoying when something is too bass heavy, or too mid heavy. This sounds like it just nails it. Bass it heard when it's needed, and the Piano takes up most of the treble side of the spectrum, so it's mainly working with the rest of what you got. 10/10
Hope to see your name again!

Lmao in my opinion the 75 dollars one wins😂! Second place for 300 and third place for 600! I don’t know how it’s humanly possible to play such an insane arrangement and to compose one! Your my favourite UA-camr man! Absolutely insane! Keep on going!

I liked the 75 dollars the most composition wise. Many of the more expensive options overpowered the piano part in many sections which I didn't like. Audio and production quality was better from the 300 dollars guy though.

Whaaaat, those are incredible! You definitely nailed the top 3 for me, too. I've listened to those three several times now. The twinkly sounds and then the build up and epic drop at 6:10 in that $75 track was so, so great. On first listen that $110 was my favorite...the sound quality was definitely a huge step up, and cinematic was definitely the right word for it! Instant goosebumps. But when I went back through I have to agree that $300 track was on top. That violin countermelody was my favorite single addition, and he really kept it fresh the whole way through as far as I could hear. Amazing work and amazing video!

Okay, I absolutely agree with the final ranking. I know the 75$ guy absolutelly KILLED it, but I just have a soft spot for the violin with the 300$ one. It was done beautifully and matched the melody perfectly. But that said, $75 guy was absolutely worth the price too. Loved both. He should definitely rise the price. He's worth a lot more.

You have to view it from their point of view as well. Many people on Fiverr undercharge their work. Just think about it. They have to pay taxes as well. I don't know how long it takes to produce a song like that but if you charge $75 for it then you can not work on it more than two hours or it is not worth it. Being self employed you have to calculate a lot different than people that work a normal 9 to 5 job.

I think I like the $75 one most, honestly. Good integration, really good energy, clean drops and he raise the intensity in build ups evenly so it really emphasized the build ups. For $75, that guy's work should easily be in the $150 to $200 range. That was solid, you could play that in a club and people would love it.

Nicolaschazarre was the best from start to finish. That ending was epic. If you had paid $7500 it would have been with it. Given your own criteria of what you were looking for, especially keeping the piano portion at front and center(focal point) it was exactly what you asked for and then more.
WileyWest was actually off on his dubstep beat in a couple of spots. I also got bored with about 20 seconds left.

  • @trevorr9919

That last guy did exactly what I wanted. He didn’t try to take over what you were doing and he did a little back and forth with what I guess I would call the lifting of the work. Idkh to explain it, but he knew when to grab the audience’s attention, then hand it back to the piano. Plus the drumroll build up to the drop.
The third guy was the most creative to me. He may not have been the best but goddamn he has potential.
