Hey man, I just wanted to say awesome videos...been watching them and you are a great teacher and resource for all fisherman. I live up near St.Louis, the crappie bite is on!
Great video ! Hopefully we both have a better tournament on 24th ! I caught one 14” largemouth on a flipping tube. So yup I zeroed as well. I fished with Tony on Cherokee before great guy !
My home lake and if you're not used to it the fishing can be brutal. Especially in the poor conditions. That being said there is no place I'd rather fish on a summer night
BassGeek in two weeks they should be in the backs of the creeks. Same time towards the end of March last year we were in the back far right pocket of Lick Run (which is on the other side of the lake from Sunset Marina) got one on a jerkbait, but we were consistently catching 3,4 & even a few 5 lbers dragging 4 & 6 inch dead ringer worms in black with blue tails. Put the boat 20 feet or so from the shore, cast to the bank and slow reel in. I'm not much of a finesse guy so it was brutal for me but was paying off.
I'd like to help you more but unfortunately I own a small bait company and one of the guys I sponsor is your or at least your friends competition lol. If you get Adam Wagner as your boater message be back lol.
Surprised Y'all didn't catch much shallow flippin. My experience if water warm enough when that dirty bass are more will move shallow. Great video Hank! Look forward to the next one!!
That is a big question. March can be such a swing. It can be one bait or other. I have to to with a crank, jig, or swimbait. Jerkbait is fun to. lol That really helped huh. Sorry.
As a boater the first thing I always wanted out of my co-angler who's put in practice time is his opinion and I'll lay out the plan and options from there. Moving all the way up in those conditions was not a bad idea. But if ain't working for both y'all it ain't working! Option plan B C D lol. Just curious but afterwards did he say he was 'waiting on a bite window to open'? I've caught all of my fish in a one to two hour span at times in those conditions by triggering a couple little bucks and then the window slams shut and the movements back on. It's pretty frustrating as a co-angler waiting on a guy who thinks it's going to happen lmao... You'll get em time, great video
I'll be honest you are one of the only boaters who wants to hear it. But as a boater I don't tend to ask my Co until my stuff has fallen flat. I hate dock talk it spins me out so I don't tend to do it until after the tournament. I've learned as a co not to volunteer info they most don't listen to the co. Like I said I don't until it's to late. lol. Oh yeah that can be a great pattern when the water is coming up and you get some warm days. We fished the hell out of if during practice. lol The problem was no worm days. It was a warm rain followed by a BIG cold front. They just sat down where ever they where. No he only had two bites in practice. I hope this didn't sound like I was slamming him he was a great guy and I had a great time. I approach Co angling as getting my education. So I don't tend to be super competitive when it come to doing it. As a boater it's a whole other story. That's the end goal for me. I have a boat, have had a boat for 15yrs. I'm just paying some dues in the BFL's. Oh and no he didn't seem to have a time slot. I was hoping it would get good late in the day. He abandon it by then.
BassGeek nah didn't sound like you were slamming him. Just tough conditions and different opinions for you guys. Love it man keep em coming. Enjoyed the video. Definitely curious, what were the winning numbers?
I fish Dale Hollow twice a year, a week in spring and a week in fall been doing that for several years and there is pretty much only one bait I throw now and it flat out catches em both times of the year and that's a shaky head with a squirrel tale worm by Big Bite Baits.
Great video, and too bad sometimes you practice for days, and draw a boater who takes it in the wrong direction . I've fished Dale Hollow dozens of times, 3&4 days at a time. I'm going to Ky Lake March 21st for 5 days with my brother. I can't wait for your next BFL and I've got a friend who guides on Chickimagua if you're going there soon, let me know.
Ya'll see that school of baitfish and Bass sittin' on bottom jumpin' up at 'em at the end of day 2 practice?! That was sexy. Hank, you'll get 'em next time.
You may first want to start at the BFL level. The best way is to find a boater and link with him so you can guarantee you're spot in the tournament. If you want to go strait to the FLW Just pay the cash and you're a co.
I was on DH all day today practicing for the Music City BFL. Didn’t get a single bite. What part of the lake where y’all on? Every creek I went into had zero activity
I love your videos! Keep 'em comin! We just subbed. Can you tell us who did the intro that plays on all your videos where it has the awesome music & action? That is one of the best I've ever seen. We're looking to get an intro made for our channel.
Enjoy watchin u in action!💯💪👊LET'S GO!!!
Thanks!

ENJOYED THIS ! COULD NOT LOCATE ANY THINK WITH THE FISH FINDERS ???
Roy Roth Yeah we found a ton deep in the grass just couldn’t get them to eat. At least not constantly.

My home lake and if you're not used to it the fishing can be brutal. Especially in the poor conditions.

Well I'm open to any suggestions. lol Got another tourny in a couple weeks down there.

Great job on the video, and great info as well, it's all about sharing what you learn. Better luck in the next tourney .
It happens I had fun.

Love this!! Hate you didn't have a good tournament day brother but there's always next tournament!
I'm behind the 8 ball but I can do it. Just need 2 to get back in the race for regions
I got faith in you brother!
forgot to ask did u fish the scissors jig
Dano 57 I didn’t but I got a brown one and that water was just to muddy for that color.
good stuff bud
Thank you!
good video ...3 2 1 lol sucks about the outcome of the tourny we know you cant always catch!
LOL Yeah I edited on this forever. I was up super late. Hey it helps during editing in dialog to cut out the screw ups. lol
Surprised Y'all didn't catch much shallow flippin. My experience if water warm enough when that dirty bass are more will move shallow. Great video Hank! Look forward to the next one!!
That was the problem. Warm rain then Cold front stopped them in their tracks.
That slot is crazy I would cry if I caught a 20.5 inch 6lb smallie and couldn't weigh it in
LOL!
Great video brother, some days we win some days we don't. Keep on keeping on buddy
Thanks! Hey I know the drill as a co. You do all you can do and that's it. I had a great guy as a boater and had a lot of fun.
BassGeek most importantly you had fun.
4 DA KIDZ Fishing That right!
Yabudy amazing video 👊😎
Thanks brother!
Yeahhhhh buddddy!!! I am ready for the Limits Series return!!
Thanks! Now if I can just catch some. lol
GREAT VID!
Thanks man.
Well done my friend. Nice video
Thanks It could be better. I'm still learning and trying to get better.
GREAT VIDEO BUDDY. I LIKE THE TOURNAMENT SERIES. WELL U WILL DO BETTER NEXT TIME. I AM GOING TO TRY MY BEST TO GET IN THE BFL'S NEXT YEAR
If you need help man just let me know.
Love watching the tournament videos really been thinking about doing a co angler bfl seems like it just depends on the boater you get tho
You can learn even if you're boater isn't on'em
These editing skills are getting ridiculous, its probably helps that you work with computers for a living lol. One of your best videos yet man
Thank you brother. That means a TON from you.
BassGeek Im guessing some of these more recent edits are taking you a decent amount of time
You grind, I grind.... It's gonna pay off....
I'm learning man. Every day. Thanks
What your favorite baits for the month of March for largemouth?
That is a big question. March can be such a swing. It can be one bait or other. I have to to with a crank, jig, or swimbait. Jerkbait is fun to. lol That really helped huh. Sorry.
BassGeek thx for the response! Thx for the help!

Thank you I just wanted to be sure I didn't. The boater had 20.6 and the co was 15 and change.
In my limited experience on DH, it can be pretty stinkin tough fishin!
It was tough but I had fun.
It's a beautiful lake. My Father in Law likes in Cookville TN.
Appreciate the video man! Did you ever do a video on your go pro set up specifically microphones?
No sir I have not. I just started using a new setup so once I get all the bugs out I do plan on doing it.
I'm just curious why he went from a motorguide on day 1 and 2, and 3 and 4 it was an ultrex? Did you guys change it out while you was fishing?
LOL He had the new on put on during the week. We practiced Sat. Sunday then Thur, Fri. and the tournament was on Sat.
I fish Dale Hollow twice a year, a week in spring and a week in fall been doing that for several years and there is pretty much only one bait I throw now and it flat out catches em both times of the year and that's a shaky head with a squirrel tale worm by Big Bite Baits.
DANG! I love that worm!!! Thanks
Sometimes you the man ! Then sometimes your like aaaaw man! Hope your next tournament trip is better bro! Like 1 first in this mug!!!!
Hope so man. Thanks for the support.

nasty water
Yeah it was coming up sooo fast.
Ya'll see that school of baitfish and Bass sittin' on bottom jumpin' up at 'em at the end of day 2 practice?! That was sexy. Hank, you'll get 'em next time.
LOL Thanks man.
How do you become an flw co angler?
You may first want to start at the BFL level. The best way is to find a boater and link with him so you can guarantee you're spot in the tournament. If you want to go strait to the FLW Just pay the cash and you're a co.
Thanks man! Appreciate it!

Will Jernigan Look for where the creek channel swings up against the bank. Steep banks and soft plastics seemed to get the most bites.
BassGeek alright thanks man! Looking forward to keeping
Up with the rest of your journey

John & Evan's Fishing Adventures I do all my editing. I just found a song I liked and edited some stuff together.
