Arken is going to be releasing a 3-12 zulus that looks awesome and also Hikmicro has released the Alpex 4K. I bought an Alpex from Europe and it’s an unbelievable scope. Built in LRF and built in ballistic calculator. Shot a 8” group at 270 yards with my 30 cal Maverick. Then range the next target at 115 yards, use the holdover and shoot a 1.75” group. Oh yeah, this was when it was completely dark. These digital scopes have come a long way in the past couple years. I will be buying a zulus for my hunter compact. See if you can get your hands on an Alpex 4K. Traditional tube style scope with the best digital picture quality I’ve ever seen.

Yes sir,I’ve got 2 Katran’s and they both are now with Huma regs,Utah Airguns went through them and they installed the Huma regs and tuned both,But I believe the Krait long barrel has more mustard than the Katran Hp bottle versions 🤘🏻
@@allanmingee9870 I should be getting a Katran N (NRL22 version) soon. That I think has a bigger plenum added but I am not sure yet. I really know nothing about the Katran, except that I am grateful for the chance to check it out! Stay tuned for that! 😉
I find myself building a target range this year and the shooting shack will most certainly be added to it. Additionally, the bubble level and digi gauge will be a nice addition to my collection. Thank you for sharing your setup with us and where these items can be found.

@@airshootist I liked it it works great. The only thing I wish is I could have a little bit more of a bold retical choice/or maybe a reticle adjustment for thickness level 1 through 6. I realize 98% of shooters do not have vision issues like I do. I'm legally blind. I just got it yesterday and I'm actually outside in pitch Black right this minute in Massachusetts doing some shooting

Great review , I've been on the fence on what to buy the fx panthera or a Krait. This video is making me look at the Krait more.
Depends what you wanna do. If you wanna shoot NRL22 then a front bottle gun does not make much sense because it doesn't fit through all obstacles. If you are just looking for an accurate slug gun, both will do fantastically. The Krait X, with its way larger bottle will give you way more shots than the Pcat, however

NRL22 requires a slimmer gun. Either a Panthera would be good or the new Airmaks Katran N (Stay tuned to the channel for some Katran N stuff coming soon.....)

Hey another great video. Man I wish this was available 30 yrs ago. Anyhow look at your video I noticed that the 50 yd group changed when you went to the bag instead. All the shots after that were pretty much in the same spot. Not criticizing just pointing it out cuz I’ve really been doing the same to myself in trying to shoot better. Thanks again have a great day
Thanks, Jason! Those first 5 shots were the first shots of the day after the gun had been sitting for a week. By including that group you know I don't pull any punches with my reviews. Our theory is that since we lube our slugs it takes we usually discount the first 5 shots after our guns have been sitting anyway. Lube may either dry up a bit or distribute itself unevenly in the barrel after sitting. What my other thought here is about that - my mag got a huge water droplet that landed right in the opening for the first few shots. I blew it off but maybe not enough and that water had an effect. Who knows. One thing I do know is that gun shoots cash moneyyyyyyy!!!
the first five shots the regulator starts working properly. the next ones are good. huma, altaros similarly.
I think it was because I had a big water droplet fall right over the opening of the loaded mag before I loaded it. Some water was likely still in there in the first few shots even though I blew it out That gun is usually always on point. But even with our competition guns we always warm them up a bit before the match starts. In this video I was starting shooting it cold as can be.

Hi, can it shoots well with jsb 18 If i turned down reg to 870-880 fps for it?
Probably. But I'm not gonna do it. My gun is tuned perfectly for 28gr as you saw in the video. If you wanna shoot pellets go with the Krait L or shorter as they have choked barrels. The X is unchoked and you don't need all that barrel length anyway to shoot pellets at like 30fpe

I'd look to talk to someone with a Krait L and see if they've shot slugs out of it. Not sure what the barrel twist rate is on the L but the X is 17.7" which is gonna be better for heavier projectiles like 25gr+

It took you so much work to get that turd of a rifle to shoot right. They should redesign it or drop it from their line. Definitely not in katran territory. Those are laser beams.
All it took was for Airmaks to drop the badly designed original regs and start using Humas. The gun had good "bones" the whole time - but it was like running a Ferrari with a lawnmower engine with those old pull regs. This Krait shoots absolutely cash money
