- Hi,
Thanks for tuning in for a new video.
Today we are making vanilla cookies, with marble fondant, embossed, and embellished with sprinkles.
We use the Miss Biscuit vanilla cookie recipe:
www.google.com/search?q=miss+...
We also use Colour Mill food colouring, Bakels fondant, stamp from 3Dprintallthethings

Just love your designs ❤
What a great video, thank you for your clear explanation!
I've actually bought some cutters/embossers from 3D Print All the Things too... they have such an awesome range!
Aww thanks so much! They do, I love them.
Your cornflour puffer is genius! Definitely going to start using that myself 😃
It's so good!
The best video I've seen since. Thank u
Beautiful
Useful Thanks!
This was so helpful ❤️❤️ thank you!
Glad to hear x
Thank you so much Katelyn♥️
Thankyou so much so helpful :))
Looks easy to make. I Always been intimidated to make cookies although I baked cakes from scratch, Need to give it a try
Cookies are so much fun, and the options are endless. :)
Thanks your video was very helpful

This is so cute and sweet, , ! I think, i'll try to make it for this year's Eid with a Eid theme, ,
Thanks for the recipe, ,
Not a problem, hope they turn out great :)
How long before an event can you make these? Thanks
Hi there! Do uou have an Easter video for decorating cookies with fondant.
Hello beautiful cookies!
Can I make the fondant tops 2 weeks before the event to save time? How do I store it without the fondant tips getting too hard
Great video! Do you find once the water dries the sprinkles stay on well?
Hey Naomi, yes it does. Just only use a small amount, just enough to stick them.
Also, what kind of food coloring do you use?
Gel, liqua gel, or oil?
Hi! Did you use the same cutout as you did for the fondant when cutting the cookies?
Hey Amanda, yes that's correct. I use the Miss Biscuit recipe, which doesn't spread in the oven, so they are usually around the base shape once baked.
Lovely biscuits! I want to make these for an event in a few days.. never done this before! Would they be ok made in advance and then frozen?
Hi Emma, I recommend making them 2-4 weeks out, then storing in an airtight container or heat sealed them in cello bags. I think the icing would go sticky if it was frozen.
How long are they good before they expired n need to be eat within 1 weeks or 1 month in tight seal cellotape bag?
Great Video, thank you so much 🙏🏻😍 Can someone tell me how much fondant do I need for about 160 cookies this size?
Hi Nina,
I am unsure on this one, sorry. Best to ice 1, weigh the amount of fondant needed and times by 160. Add some spare too. Hope this helps
@@katematheson thank you ☺ I made about 140 cookies (7 cm diameter) and needed round about 2,5 kilos of fondant. But it was my very first fondant time and I tried to marble it. And I had some full color red and full color blue left over. I wasn't very thrifty or efficient I guess 🙈😅
Hi! I’m trying to make paint your own cookies, would the coloring from the water and m&ms show on fondant? Or does that only work with royal icing? Thank you in advance!
Hi Haysh, yes it should work the same on fondant. I have heard skittles and M&M's both work well.
Hello! Hoping I’ll still be able to get a reply. I have started making these and pretty on top of most things, I’m just not sure what to say in terms of how long they are good for once sealed? Or if not packed and just open in a box, would you say within a day or 2?
Thank you in advance!! 💙
Hi Monique,
Awesome. If they are put in a bag, then heat sealed, they can stay fresh for at least 1 month. If they are just put oven in a box, I would say 24 hours.
If in a sealed container, 2-4 weeks but this does depend on your recipe so I would suggest to trial it out. :)
Is cornflour the same as cornstarch?
Hi :)
Does the fondant stay soft or dries hard?
@Cake Creations by Kate Team Thank you :)
Hi! Great video! I am new to fondant. Just wanted to clarify is the fondant that you are using called bakels pettinice fondant? or just bakels fondant white - standard? I am confused. Please help
Hi, thank you. Yes pettinice. The ready to roll fondant variety. Soft fondant, is warmed up and used to dip donuts into. You can the firm fondant/pettinice.
Hope this helps.
@@katematheson It does. Thankyou so much!
Once you've applied the fondant, how long do you leave them to dry before packaging them?
Hi Emma, Just leave them for a few hours
@@katematheson Hi, it means fondant should be dried before packing? It wouldn’t be hard to eat?
Come si possono acquistare
Could you use edible glue to attach the fondant to the cookie?
Yes for sure :)
Is this the bakels pettinice rtr icing you’ve used?
Yes it is :)
Can you use Nutella?
Will the fondant make the cookies soft
No, it won't x
I’m just starting out so this was so helpful. I have a few questions I’d like to ask, would it be possible to get in contact with you.
Kind regards,
Alison …
Hi Alison, so glad you loved the tutorial. Yes, please do leave any questions here and I would be happy to try help, and then others may find it helpful too.
Thanks
This might be a silly question, but is this fondant specifically for cookies, or can you use any fondant?
It’s all the same fondant
Hi, you can use fondant for any use, so any brand will work just fine, just find one you like the taste of the best.
What was used to stick the fondant to the cookie?
Just some water, but you can use sugar glue or jam too.
Hello! Is 3D print all things a website?
Yes it is :) They have an instagram too
what thickness did you roll your biscuits to before baking? The Miss Biscuit Recipe doesn't state this
Hi Emily, 6mm for the cookie.
Where did you buy the stampers?
Hi Anita, they were from a company on instagram: 3Dprintallthethings
Did you use just water to stick the fondant to cookie? Please let me know
Hi, yes you can just use water as it will stick to the sugar. Otherwise, you can use sugar glue or jam also
Vorrei acquistare le letterine se si posso pagare contrassegno.
Good video but the sound quality is a bit poor and the music in the back ground is quite distracting from what you are trying to say.
Thanks for your feedback.
