I know this looks simple but I cannot get mine to click and your added insight to push back and down is something I was not doing to install mine; I was too concerned with breaking something if I was told aggressive. Every other YT'er is put it on and push, but what you said makes sense. I am going to try it that way and thanks for the tutorial.
It is a little tricky but once you get the motion correct, it locks right in.

Very true, I found mine on eBay and talked to the guy down to $115. You might have better luck negotiating on eBay.
can we use the disc drive from a PS5 non digital (a old ps5 than the disc drive is included) and somehow put it on the PS5 Pro digital?
Yes of you have a ps5 slim, if its a fat ps5 the disc drive isnt removable
I am not 100% sure. If you have both it might be worth a try? I did not think to try this before I sold my PS5 disc edition

Yes I have the PS5 Pro which does not come with a disc drive. I then added a Sony PlayStation disc drive to mine.
