Simple Tactics for Big White Bass/How to Catch White Bass/Tips,Locations, Lures to catch white bass

The water temperatures are much higher for this period during March than last year. We did not see water temperatures get this high till mid April . Each year I hear everyone talking about when to look for the White Bass migration. Its very simple . When the water temps get to the 55-56 degree mark start looking for the fish to be moving to there favorite spawning grounds .Today was a good day I caught 25 good size fish with a few small ones mixed in .
The bit was good during the morning but took a lull for an hour or so , but it picked up during the afternoon. I used a 7" light action rod with 6 pound test line to throw the jig and a 6-1/2' medium action rod with 8 pound test line to cast the inline spinners .
I expect with the water temps this high the white bass will be gone in another two weeks so you better get out there and catch you some .

My pops introduced me to fishing and whitebass fishing, he mainly targets whitebass while I target largemouth. I recently started going after whitebass to somehow feel closer to him. I'd love to just fish with him for 1 more day. R.I.P Pops.
