Not good to run them at tickover for too long, not enough water gets pumped through. Also, lay them up properly and recommission them each season, they'll go even better for longer!

The most economical marine engine? Each of those detonations is about pin prick of petrol.

Possibly. They've got like the biggest prop I've ever seen on an outboard of that size and power....and 4 blades, to boot!
