Question... Did you ever have issues with any background noise or like an alternator whine ??? I've installed noise filters and I've ordered copper grounding straps... I'd greatly appreciate any insight. I thank you.
I know you were looking for a way to mute it, if you hold down the volume button on the steering wheel, it should mute the radio. One press up on the volume should unmute it
Hello, when connecting the wiring to the car, you need to have a wire for 'power on' constant and a wire to power on when the car is on, this is the wire that will power the radio on or off. check the wiring connections for this. If you used an adapter like what I have in my video, the wiring is called out for what goes where. IF this doesn't help I would recommend going to a local car stereo shop for assistance. hope this helps!
