I can't recommend the 760 to anyone. They are crappy rifles. The 7600 is an improvement mechanically, but the stock geometry was designed by PETA to end hunting. There are far better options, unless collecting is your goal. That's cool too.

I used to try to look for them but never found one whose price and condition was in my ballpark. I really wish someone would make them again. They're just the 870 action chambered for rifle rounds. Doesn't seem like it'd be a huge ordeal for Remington to bring it back.
I also have the .450 Marlin rifle and Roy was dead on about the price of $5 to $6 per round; had to buy four 20 round boxes of new old-stock and that cost over $400... I inherited the rifle when my WWII veteran Grandfather passed away as I was the only grandson that reloaded like he did so I was the only one that could eventually feed the rifle... unfortunately somehow all of my Grandfather's brass and cartridges for this rifle got lost so I had to "bite the bullet" and get some brass for the rifle before the supply completely evaporated. It's a great gun, has a bit of "bark" as Roy mentioned, but is extremely fun to shoot. Turned out it's my 20 year old son's favorite lever action rifle and now he's learning how to reload so it's nice to know it'll continue to be passed down as a functioning family heirloom. Thanks for the video Roy & keep up the great work!
