- I never in a million years thought we'd have bees on our homestead. But when we got that call that a colony needed to be saved from an old abandoned house, we were ready! Check out the video here.

Thank you for persevering to create this video. It sounds like it was technologically frustrating. However, this video that you did produce was absolutely wonderful. From your calm narration, to the soothing background music, to the actual information you shared; absolutely wonderful. I have always wondered how beekeepers don't accidentally squish a bee while moving things around. Thank you so much for sharing I am also a first-year beekeeper ❤we currently have three hives my mentor has encouraged me to feed the bees one to one sugar syrup for my understanding it stimulates their wax glands and helps them build out the cone.🐝
The formerly wild bees need supplemental feed to help them recover from not having a queen for so long. Congratulations on starting your beekeeping journey.

In May I discovered that I had big a hive under my house. I contacted the ‘top dog’ (can’t remember her title) for bees in West Virginia. I was expecting a bee rescuer to relocate them the next week…
Sadly, my house burned to the ground the Saturday before 😭 I lost EVERYTHING!
I was hoping they could’ve relocated them on my property.
Oh I would love to get bees
I want to be a beekeeper but sadly, my township zoning regulations do not allow it.
