What's amazing about this interview is that it is simultaneously friendly and hard-hitting. Along with highlighting career achievements, it touches on several subjects that might be considered uncomfortable or "negative." But they are approached in context and with respect. The interviewee is given time and space to give his thoughts, not cut off or gotcha-ed. Further, careful research has obviously gone into prepping. But Rog is able to stay nimble and capture moments and insights as they come up spontaneously.
I remember the first time I saw a Ben Tozer throw in. I was amazed. He threw from the sideline to almost the far post of the Goal. I had never seen anything like that before. Amazing talent.
What a player and what a team and what a club...Wrexham AFC! I absolutely love every player in our team, same goes for our manager and the board, groundstaff, medics...the lot!! This will be our season again! I feel we will have a orher victory parade again this year. COYR'S 🏴⚽️🏴⚽️🇨🇦⚽️🇺🇸
Another excellent interview Rog. Clearly Ben is a great role model not only to his own team but outsiders too. You don't buy respect you earn it by leading by example, setting high standards based on past experience. Key to Wrexham's success is togetherness mirrored in rhe Welcome to Wrexham series snd again more recently with Humphrey's interview. The one game at a time philosophy is key to continued progress so too is avoiding further injuries. Testing times ahead now after this Saturday's game.
Don't doze when the Toz throws, bros. That would be a mistake. You hear it a lot when watching the documentary or in player interviews: they try to bring in the right people. I love that their definition of the 'right people' doesn't start and end with footballing prowess. The content of a player's character is clearly being used as a primary criteria and I'm biggly here for it.
Did you enjoy this conversation? Make sure you don't miss a new episode of This Week in Wrexham dropping every Thursday at noon ET!
Absolutely loving these conversations, Rog.
I love Ben Tozer.. such a calm collected human being. Better attitude than many premier League players. I love this Wrexham series. ❤

Loved the conversation. Keep them coming. Such a fun perspective on life....and he's doing what he loves.
Another excellent interview. We're going to have to come up with a Tozer / Rocket man chant!
Beautiful Conversation ❤❤❤❤❤
