Ditch the heater. Fire Hazzard and no need to keep it that warm. Plug that heat lamp into a freeze plug. You can get one at the hardware store, it automatically turns on just above freezing and off when it warms up. It will save you a ton of money. Good job on the insulation.

You can use a layer of reflectix along the inside walls too. We did that in a barn and it helps a bit plus it seems pretty moisture proof. It’s easy to remove to clean behind it. Also look into the solar powered marine or rv vent fans. They are small and can come with a directional setting to pull air in or pull it out depending on season.

Interesting video. We're live in a yurt camp in the mountains of Mongolia. Winter night temperatures are around -30 to -40C/F. Our deep water well has a similar setup. A 2m x 2m well house on a concrete slab about 40m from our yurts. The well pump house is insulated with about 5cm of wool. It's not a lot. I might add more with sheets of EPS. We do get condensation problems in deepest winter which iced the metal door closed. I haven't figured out how to deal with that except chipping the ice away frequently. An insulating curtain might interrupt the water vapour before it hits the steel door.
We've got 2 electric heaters. One is smart (but flawed). It has a WIFI connection so I can monitor the temp and usually set it in frost proof mode (it only kicks in below 5C). The problem is we get power cuts in the day frequently and the stupid 'smart' heater doesn't remember it's settings when the power comes back. If I don't notice the power went out, I've got no heating. So I added a space heater like yours but it's not clear how the thermostat works so it's probably wasteful.
There doesn't seem to be anything ideal unless you spend a ton of money. It requires vigilance which I'm not always capable of. We lost a pump when it ruptured due to the power going out in the day and me not noticing until the next day.

I roofed my pumphouse with Ondura roofing. when it gets below freezing (20F) I hang a brooder lamp directly over my above ground pump. This always works. I do not turn it off until the Ondura heats up the pump house (sunshine) to 70F plus degrees. During the winter, my pumphouse is nice and toasty and cool in the summer because of the Ondura roofing.

Good insulation. Here in north Texas I have a thermal controlled power strip that turns on a heat lamp. Some use that to keep their reptiles warm, so I thought, hey, this should keep my water warm enough. It is not extremely cold here in winter and in 2021 it got to -6F. That is nothing like growing up in northern MN. Lol. Cheers, from north Texas!

What about when they need to pull the well to replace the pump etc. How will they get access with their equipment? Does the roof lift off?

Pump is pulled out by hand with a rope

Ah ok. Yes we used to do that. Definitely takes less space. Now they bring a truck with rigging so need to have access. Complicates things a bit so trying to find options that allow access. Thanks for the reply.

Worked great over the winter. Had some moisture build up though over the spring due to a leaking connection. Might need to add some vent for some air movement in the summer
