I absolutely love this home. I went with the gentry floorplan which I absolutely LOVE in another dr Horton community because I’m about to be an empty nester (thank God) but If I had little ones or a growing family I would’ve gone for this one. It’s a winner.
Great video! I live in the south Atlanta area and everywhere that I see a new community being built it is usually DRB Homes. Ive really become bored seeing the same house designs and the same small home lots. Im not into cookie cutter houses and definitely not interested in living in a house that is right next door to neighbors. I keep thinking and wishing that a developer would come with some fresh different home designs. Then the high prices for homes that are being built out of plastic. Bring back the days of 4 sided brick ranch homes being built on 1 acre + lots!!!
I love a brick ranch on a nice lot! Maybe you should consider getting a home custom built? I have builders in my back pocket! Call or email me and we can talk further faithprealty@gmail.com 404-333-7393
Are these Calcutta homes better than the Hawthone ridge new construction homes in McDonnough? Which one is the better value for money? I think I prefer these Calcutta homes in Stockbridge.
Toured the model at Hawthorne Ridge early last year...that community has nothing to offer so if you have kids or enjoy the outdoors it wouldn't be a good choice.
@@deshunf1 how are you like the home you purchase ? anything to look out for ? debating to purchase with this builder as well so trying to see if you had any issues with your new build ?
Hi Faith, when are the ones with basement coming on the market. I am interested in this community in stockbridge. Can you tell me the price range of the homes and the monthly or yearly HOA? Thanks Faith.
Went to see this model yesterday and I can say it was highly disappointing. It sells well on here but not in person. In person, the minute you walk thru the front door you can feel the cheapness of the building materials (flooring, kitchen, etc). Family room and kitchen are small. There are 2 remaining of this floorplan in the building stage and they are with basements priced at $580s and $600s (so not worth it)! The master bedroom is small. The master bathroom with the tub smack as you enter seems as if it was delivered and just left in that spot and it is very small too. A house of that size and price deserves so much more. The media room upstairs is the only space worth your visit. It would have made a great master suite instead. The jack and jill bathroom should have had 2 sinks likewise the other shared bathrooms. Definitely not impressed and lost interest. Was not worth my visit from FL.

Honestly it depends on what is important to you. Location, costs, and size are factors to take into account
@@faithpsellsatl If both homes were side by side in the same location, which one would you choose?
@@soccersprint If my budget were lower Hawthorne is great, but if my budget was higher Calcutta for sure!

Whats the price? Whats the size in sq feet? Is there an HOA monthly fee,?

The website for Reserve at Calcutta seems to be very low standard with very little information on existing home plans/ styles and available lots etc.
I have all the up to date information on what's available. Send me an email and I will forward it to you. faithprealty@gmail.com

The basement lots will be released soon but the buildout time is to be determined. These homes start at $500,000/ HOA is $500 annually
