Just want to clear few doubts which I Still have in my mind.. Did she take help of the Cops about getting her passport back? Did she talk to her family about this? What did her family do after knowing that she is struggling and suffering so much.. Did they try to take help of Indian Police, Lawyer or Government (which is not at all easy, I know that), Who was that warden and why did she give her this weird advice instead of actually helping her? And why did she agree knowing that the advice is wrong and can be dangerous in a country like Yemen where Laws are taken seriously and not as a joke (like in few countries where criminal are roaming on road like common people)? I can completely understand the stress and the situation but if she had talked to the warden about it ..then she must've talked to other people also (including her family). I can completely understand the pressure and everytime she was going through at that time.. If she is innocent she definitely has the right to live.

Indian laws don't give you death sentence for these kinda murders usually. I think in this case she wouldn't even have gottn a life in prison. Idk the full story but if evidences are in her favor and if she has a good advocate she could get away with a few years of jail if it was India.
In India mistaken murder or murder during self defense will be ruled usually not guilty but in her case it is more of an illegal act gone worse so yeah this is definitely not mistaken murder.

This case reminds me of another one I watched on the Wronged UA-cam channel about Maulin Rathod. A culprit was sentenced to 3 years in jail for unintentionally killing Maulin. Apparently she didn't intend to kill him but rather wanted him to free himself while she was choking him.. According to Australian law she was guilty of unintentional manslaughter due to her pre-existing medical condition.the story of Nirmal who went through immense troubles and problems is another example... Nirmal unintentionally killed Talal and was sentenced to death... It's funny how different laws exist worldwide and I'm speechless when it comes to Indian law..
President of Yemen doesn't have that much jurisdiction due to the civil War, the capital as well as the Northern Side of Yemen is controlled by Houthis (a rebel group) and they issued the death sentence since they operate the north they have majority of administrative power. Another issue is Indian Government doesn't have any relations with the houthis group thats another problem as currently there are no grounds fot negotiation due to lack of relations.
Why was she adamant to start a clinic in yemen of all places? Didnt she do research? She should have moved to another gulf country or went back to kerala.
When he died they could've just called the police and the case would've been about drug overdose But they decided to "improvise" and now facing death sentence What an irony
If only she got help from groups when the guy abused her sexually, her fate would be different. Indian received billions of dollars from abroad. Why can't we have dedicate call help line for vicitims. Keeping law aside,he abused her and she took revenge. But now can't escape the law. Guy who helped her also paid the price. Life imprisonment is not a joke.
Dont go to such countries in the first place and second thing is at the first instance when things take a sour turn - right then and there nip things in the bud. Cut your losses and leave - no point in having anything to do with people you cannot trust and worst of all engaging in any business or official activity in a country where the laws are messed up or law and order is not well established is doing yourself a disservice.
So a combination of injectable sedative and a drug he was abusing before the injection caused his death? She should've known to reduce the dosage of the sedative or use another sedative. Synergistic action probably caused his death unfortunately.
First of all its her fault that she give him that much freedom to treat her like that, because her husband was not there she has develop that kind of relation with this man that man has got that much freedom that he can do anything with her Beating her and then a lot of different things. Also she’s quite because she’s getting money. 😢
Even if blood money is paid and she is pardoned, she will still get life imprisonment. I doubt spending 30 to 40 years in Yemeni prison will be a better option as oppose to death sentence.
Release her, you corrupt judges. You are corrupt Yemeni judges, and we know you well. Release the doctor immediately, unconditionally. She defended herself and said she was innocent. Punish the rest of the gang of the murdered man. The Yemeni criminal has no right to seize her passport, and he has no right to treat the doctor in this way. He does not even have blood money for the blood of a rabid dog. as yemeni we stand with Nimisha priya
Better to live in india unemployed rather than going to such a country where there is no freedom and dignity of women and even worse for non muslim women.
Exactly This why people call "Malayali - Kolaiyali" ( murderer) . How can a registered nurse be unaware of sedative dosage ? She is just cooking up the story cause "Dead men tell no tale"
What has she being a malayali have to do with she being a murderer. She's an Indian, why don't you generalise it on all Indians? She's a human, why don't you generalise it on all humans?

When did she used him
She asked for his help instead of some money but after payment history greed grew for which he confessed everyone that she is his wife
He threatened her publicly and abused her physically
Hello started living at her home taking drugs and all
While he was in jail he took her visa and other documents and she just in order to get them back gave him injection
Of course she was nurse and did knew the dosage of it but might be stressed of what she is doing and he took had taken drugs he took would be shaking body leading to get injected more and many other things too
But atleast this is clear that she was not using him instead he was using her
the Yemeni government literally forced her to have a Yemeni business partner lol...
Of course, she used him. No one in their right mind goes to Yemen, never mind works there, then doubles down to own a business there.

Fantastic coverage. I was hearing this incident quite for a while but was not aware in details. Thanks Vaishnavi. Apart, Nimisha should have left Yemen and come back to India when things were turning against her. Honestly, you can't get things on your side in a foreign land where the crime committed from you is so grave. poor woman suffered so much but all went to backseat after she followed others advice. Sad.

WTF? Huh,... Don't play psychology. He wasn't a victim; he was a R@p!st...
If she is innocent she definitely has the right to live.
if she got him locked up for domestic abuse then she can also annul the marriage for the same reason.
Chopping up body parts after killing someone is work of a classic sociopath.
All of them seem shady. The man was disgusting , she saw an opportunity to get rid of him and took it.Where is her husband in all this?
The yemeni report hasnt confirmed any of her allegations. For all we know, she used him for her advantage and killed him afterwards.
Disgusting?, just cause you saw a pic of shirtless moderately rich dude?
What kind of perception is that.

Secondly the only reason the commision was formed and efforts were taken was because she was a woman. If it were even a dozens of men, it wouldve barely made it into the news, forget people helping them.
A joke in this story: this women is totally innocent and she totally did not have an affair with this talal guy.

Even by mistake but she killed him, even Indian laws also don't allow murder by mistake
one side of story
Indian laws don't give you death sentence for these kinda murders usually. I think in this case she wouldn't even have gottn a life in prison. Idk the full story but if evidences are in her favor and if she has a good advocate she could get away with a few years of jail if it was India.
In India mistaken murder or murder during self defense will be ruled usually not guilty but in her case it is more of an illegal act gone worse so yeah this is definitely not mistaken murder.
@jyotsnajayakumarI dont knoe why but if she is left only with few years in prison,n she comes back she can do to her fellow native people wher eshe ll get job. I have negative vibes from her. Isnt it shocking there are so many asian nationalities whose passport is under their boss in many countries, but attempt to murder. How she got that audacity.

@kompallisravankumar7234 Yes, but a Murder is a Murder even if its done by mistake Or for self defence. If laws are in favour of Women, These kind of allegations can be made on a man easily and the society will stand in favour of women. Even if all she said was truth, She should be in jail for doing something illegal and taking a life of a human. Pay the family and release a murderer? People who say Muslim laws shouldn't exist are now supporting it on this case. My point is do not support one's crime for the sake of Opposing another's.

It's indeed true
President of Yemen doesn't have that much jurisdiction due to the civil War, the capital as well as the Northern Side of Yemen is controlled by Houthis (a rebel group) and they issued the death sentence since they operate the north they have majority of administrative power. Another issue is Indian Government doesn't have any relations with the houthis group thats another problem as currently there are no grounds fot negotiation due to lack of relations.

When he died they could've just called the police and the case would've been about drug overdose
But they decided to "improvise" and now facing death sentence

If only she got help from groups when the guy abused her sexually, her fate would be different. Indian received billions of dollars from abroad. Why can't we have dedicate call help line for vicitims. Yes but this was earlier to The civil war
Greed for more more more by Nimisha led her to her fate ...
Even if blood money is paid and she is pardoned, she will still get life imprisonment. I doubt spending 30 to 40 years in Yemeni prison will be a better option as oppose to death sentence.
Based on what he did to her, I am on her side. Although she did take things to the extreme, she should be given a light sentence.
