Very one sided view. To the extent it seems flimsy. Why did she gave her documents to him, why couldn't she see him taking shareholding in clinic, marrige documents could be easily verified for forgery if not recorded officially. Why her husband and daughter couldn't come again, how she got visa during riots while her family couldn't. Seems she also tried to play the rules but got too deep to come out. Killing someone accidentally and dismembering body doesn't seem really believable in the same sentence. And without any rewards nobody would help in dismembering a body. Too many loopholes. Just because she is a woman and Indian (if she believes) doesn't mean she can go unscathed

    • @umran89

Many sponsors in Middle eastern couriers take the passport of the visa holders so that the employees don’t abscond.

@@hindubyheart living in Middle East, trust me, unless you are planning on opening a corporation, for regular trading license, no one brings in a lawyer, because even though there was a special case like this, there are tens of thousands where there’s barely any intervention of the Arab local in your business other than them just taking a cut every month for being your sponsor. Usually it’s fixed before hand. This dude definitely took advantage of her naivety and also her mistake where she didn’t do her due diligence. If the document was in complete Arabic, she could have got it translated.since she was the business owner too, she made the mistake of letting him keep the passport with him, it was too late for her to ask for it but if she could have asked right away, and if he didn’t return, she could have inform the embassy of India. Currently I am undergoing visa renewal, my sponsor took the passport, got visa renewed and returned my passport, if at this stage he wouldn’t have done that, I could take some action rather than waiting for months. If she was a low skilled labor, like construction worker and so on, usually they do keep their passports with the sponsors, which is bad in itself but then in this case, she was opening a clinic and probably was a business owner, so letting him keep the passport was definitely a mistake.

Just want to clear few doubts which I Still have in my mind.. Did she take help of the Cops about getting her passport back? Did she talk to her family about this? What did her family do after knowing that she is struggling and suffering so much.. Did they try to take help of Indian Police, Lawyer or Government (which is not at all easy, I know that), Who was that warden and why did she give her this weird advice instead of actually helping her? And why did she agree knowing that the advice is wrong and can be dangerous in a country like Yemen where Laws are taken seriously and not as a joke (like in few countries where criminal are roaming on road like common people)?
I can completely understand the stress and the situation but if she had talked to the warden about it ..then she must've talked to other people also (including her family).
I can completely understand the pressure and everytime she was going through at that time.. If she is innocent she definitely has the right to live.

Apparently she didn't intend to kill him but rather wanted him to free himself while she was choking him.. According to Australian law she was guilty of unintentional manslaughter due to her pre-existing medical condition.the story of Nirmal who went through immense troubles and problems is another example... Nirmal unintentionally killed Talal and was sentenced to death... It's funny how different laws exist worldwide and I'm speechless when it comes to Indian law..

It is astounding that anyone would even want to go to Yemen, never mind think you could open a business there. She is a nurse, not a businesswoman.
She had a few screws lose.

Why does such an independent woman depend on a young man while starting business, hypocrisy of modern feminism?
