Ex Catholic here , converted to Islam last year after witnessing the resilient Palestenian people when they were facing death daily , and still face it today . I kept hearing them repeat certain chants & words as parents held their dead baby . I looked it up and did my research . Walked into a local Mosque and Allahamdullilah I became Muslim . I was once holding a stall for a deaf children’s charity at a large conference organised by Muslims in my city. At one point of one the organisers told me to take a break from manning the stall and to go inside the conference hall. To my upmost surprise the Texan preacher Yusuf Estes was on stage taking shahada from two young men who had just come out of prison. The audience was made up of almost every ethnicity I could think of and they all chanted “Allahu Akbar!” Then one of the organisers came to me and said “you next inshallah!” I was too stunned to speak as the whole experience felt surreal, like something from a movie. However, about one year later I became Muslim myself 🤷♀️

Yes, indeed those people can't understand what we feel . Yesterday I was stressed because of some staff and found myself awake at 2 am . I just prayed and read the Qur'an and felt so calm the next day. My day today was amazing the opposite of yesterday thanks to Allah. I always tell myself that I am blessed to be Muslim. Alhamdolilah

Technically as Muslims we are not supposed to hinder traffic or anything just so we can pray, but as long as we are no infringing on anyone’s freedom to move, travel or to do business then yeah we are praying bro. We are mandated to pray 5 times a day at a specific and prescribed times so we cannot just wait to get home and pray all 5 times at once, that is why you may see us pray at odd places. Even in Muslim countries people dotn block roads to pray. On some religious days where the whole country is ceelbrating the day some roads do get blocked but its all pre planned and only for few hours and few places. Prayers shouldn’t be causing inconvenience to the surroundings. I’m a proud Muslim and a major part of our religion is not to an inconvenience towards the people around us. By that I mean I won’t block a whole pavement to pray, or have mass prayer on the street where cars meant to drive and where businesses take place.

I’m Muslim and even though I’m not the perfect Muslim my parents forced some self respect in me. I truly believed that if a man wanted to hold my hand he needed to marry me. 24 years I was single because I would scare guys away. My husband was my first hug. My parents helped me save my soul and I’m so thankful that my soul feel whole. I feel really proud of myself that I was able to protect my body and soul from men. my husband take pride in it too (he’s half white). After marrying me he stopped touching females all together with me even asking. Even Our touches feels electric to me.

Yea . It’s daily fast and nightly eating 🥣 pretty much it was intermittent fasting before intermittent fasting became a trend . The easiest is when ramadan is like december in the east coast because the sunset is at 4:30pm . July fasting is hard . 16 hours-18 hours dry fasting till 8:30pm almost 9pm. Every year ramadan goes back 2 weeks. Next year 2025 it’ll be in March so not as bad. Weather isn’t hot and it’s a bit easier to fast than in the summer

There are mosques, homes, and empty places where you're not going to be interrupting anyone. I was once holding a stall for a deaf children’s charity at a large conference organised by Muslims in my city. At one point of one the organisers told me to take a break from manning the stall and to go inside the conference hall. To my upmost surprise the Texan preacher Yusuf Estes was on stage taking shahada from two young men who had just come out of prison. The audience was made up of almost every ethnicity I could think of and they all chanted “Allahu Akbar!” Then one of the organisers came to me and said “you next inshallah!” I was too stunned to speak as the whole experience felt surreal, like something from a movie. However, about one year later I became Muslim myself 🤷♀️

Prayers shouldn’t be causing inconvenience to the surroundings. I’m a proud Muslim and a major part of our religion is not to an inconvenience towards the people around us. I truly believed that if a man wanted to hold my hand he needed to marry me. 24 years I was single because I would scare guys away. My husband was my first hug. My parents helped me save my soul and I’m so thankful that my soul feel whole. I feel really proud of myself that I was able to protect my body and soul from men. my husband take pride in it too (he’s half white). After marrying me he stopped touching females all together with me even asking. Even Our touches feels electric to me.

You can eat before dawn (the fajr prayer, first of the day) and after sunset (maghred last of the day. No food and water in between
Yea . It’s daily fast and nightly eating 🥣 pretty much it was intermittent fasting before intermittent fasting became a trend . The easiest is when ramadan is like december in the east coast because the sunset is at 4:30pm . July fasting is hard . 16 hours-18 hours dry fasting till 8:30pm almost 9pm. Every year ramadan goes back 2 weeks. Next year 2025 it’ll be in March so not as bad. Weather isn’t hot and it’s a bit easier to fast than in the summer
