The Canadian dub of this series came to kick asses, and that’s exactly what it did. Now. I’d much appreciate it if they also started to invest the same kind of energy on their lyrics too, ‘cause some of these passages sound weird af in French. Or quite simply banal.
The songs were not, afaik, given an official title in Canadian French.

As a native french speaker, I think canadians translated it well. Frenchs on the other hand translated "More than anything" as "Je n'rêve que de ça" (Lit. I only dream of that)💀
J'aurais choisis plutôt "Par dessus tout" si on voulait faire proche sans faire litteral
C'est trop court, il manque une syllabe. De toute façon on ne traduit pas une chanson comme un dialogue ou une un manuel d'utilisation@@caglisse-le-vampire-stella4627
@@clem366 entre "par" et "dessus" il y a un "e" forcé quand la bouche se referme, on peut en faire une syllabe

As frenchguy, Quebecers have great dub, the choice to "Plus que tout au monde", is good with their accent.

J'ai beau être française et être plutôt fan/fière du doublage vf (c'est difficile de détester Valentino comme il le mérite quand Pierre Tissier fait sa voix)
J'aime bien la voix de celui qui double Lucifer dans cette version et le fait que les paroles se rapprochent plus de l'idée que cherche à faire passer la VO

Which are the passages you talk about in your description that sound weird or banal? I’m learning French and that would really be useful to me
Just don’t think it’s literal translation everywhere, there’s some moments who are a bit changed to sound better in English like "Mille fois j’ai fais l’effort", which will make "A thousand times I’ve done the effort". Also, good luck learning French, it’s really hard even for native speakers.

Ciononostante, sono sicura che il direttore di doppiaggio di questa serie avesse una pletora di doppiatori italiani (di cui non siamo esattamente a corto) tra cui avrebbe potuto scegliere, invece di castare sé stesso
