Hey Jon...from Canada...looking at a 2014 Bolt 950 with 53400 km's on it; there asking 4999...I offered 3800. Q: is that too high mileage? (That's 33,375 miles) If you have time - your opinion matters. Thanks
Literally going to buy a 2014 and 2015 bolt one has 15k miles the other has 50k miles both look super clean and I’m paying $4,800 for both to flip. Happy to see other people are doing the same thing even know this was 3 years ago still think I’m getting a great deal
Dyna's used to be known for the wobble. I own one and a Sporty. I never ride hands free--ever. I don't understand why anyone would. Would you ever take your hands off the steering wheel of you car while driving?? ...just sayen.
Hey I see this was a while back, wanted to ask you if a 2014 bolt r spec with 8k miles going for $5,000 is a good deal. Seems like I could get it for less by now but not sure what I should offer.
Check my other vid on the Yamaha bolt cspec deathbwobble/headshake. Based on my research, it's sometimes fixed by getting new tires but usually comes down to new head bearings. The c-spec has new tires but still wobbles when you take the hands off around 35 mph.
Thanks, brotha! I haven't gotten my hands on one or done much research. Did they make many changes from the previous years? I'll keep my eyes peeled. I'm surprised there aren't any good vids out there on them.
Are you looking for that particular color? Or just one of your favorites? I've seen a few, but they're hard to come by. I'll keep my eyes peeled. Came very close to picking up another Bolt on Saturday...
I'm looking to get into motorcycles and this is something that I am very interested in. However, because my lack of knowledge of this bike can it go on the freeway?
Thanks for checking the vid! Yes, these can definitely cruise on the freeway without a problem. Perfect for beginners (not too heavy, well balanced), but also a bike that will continue to suit your needs as an experienced rider as well. Good luck and keep me posted if you decide to get one!
I had no idea Yamaha was doing it like this and affordable. Thanks Yammie & thanks Jon's Moto Garage.
I just bought a 15 bolt r spec less then 700 miles on it.. it's my first bike and I'm loving it

Do you know what causes the death wobble in the Yamaha bolt? I’ve heard it’s the tires.

well a football game is way more important then selling a motorcycle! we all know that! i speak for everyone
Hahaha! Right!? Cant miss that football game! Lol.
Great video.
Have you ever ridden or know anything about the 2019 Bolt? I swear there are no videos about it on UA-cam.

Do you have the link to the exhaust
hey whats with the gas cap? looks better then stock and I want mine for my bolt lol
I'm pretty sure it was just a black plastic dip.
Jon's Moto Garage thanks for the reply just re watched it I think you’re 100 right on that! Dang really wanna get a better one for mine
I hate how the caps seem loose
If by some chance you end up with a Green 2014, try to keep it if it's in great condition and hasn't been modified to ugliness.

What do you think of the C-Spec? That's the one I almost picked up Saturday. We were a few hundred off on the price, but I might reconsider.
i got a 19 bolt for $4,000 and it has 24 miles on it. interesting 😂.
Liarrr
