    Only thing I disagree with is the aftermarket support. Granted, it’s not as robust as Harley, but there are still quite a few companies who make a good deal of upgrades for this bike. SS Custom Cycle, DeanSpeed, Low and Mean, etc.

    I have a '17 SCR950, same bike just styled a little different. Great bike! Super reliable and fun to ride. Not the fastest bike, but makes a great around town just mess'n around bike.
    I rode mine from Mexico to Seattle and from California to Virgina. Never had a single issue. Just keep up with your oil changes and it should run forever. People even put turbo kits on them. Lol
    The only stock part that has ever actually broken on me is the Throttle Cable.

    Highway speeds here are 100km/h so this is definitely still at the top of my list, that speed wobble issue is disconcerting

    • @Tardy_Productions
      @Tardy_Productions  3 роки тому +4

      I would say that if you like the bike the wobble isn’t anything that should stop you from getting it. It’s not that bad and only happens when both hands are off the bars at certain speeds. It can also be fixed or drastically reduced with a $30 part. I’ve had 3 bolts and loved all of them. Definitely check out some of my other content, I do a lot with the bolts

    • @stevenlatre7934
      @stevenlatre7934 3 роки тому

      Speed wobble happens most often upon decel when you take your hands off the bars they start to shake back and forth like a fish trying to throw the hook. I've heard multiple ways to cure it to varying degrees of success.

    Who needs to ride without holding a handlebar or with one hand? because only then you get wobble.
    Yamaha said they not going to fix it because bike is designed to ride with both hands on the handlebar.
    If you ride with both hands as you should, without playing a macho man or cool guy there will be no wobble.
    So stop fooling around people and ride safe period.
