I'm right there with ya. I knew as soon as I watched some d4 game play, that it was just a slightly altered d3. I enjoyed playing d3 a bit, but nothing compares to d2
Glacial spike is one of my fav sorc skills. I always activate it on any sorc build for peace of mind because of the insane cc it gives. Would be nice to see a build based on it.

Found this video because I was curious if CB alone was enough to get me to lvl 30 before I respec haha. Looks like it will be.
I struggled a lot to get into D4 initially, but it feels a bit better once you start getting some codex aspects from dungeons and get that campaign skip. I just wish there was a little more to do after level 60 other than NM dungeons. The devs seem really receptive to feedback though, so I think in 6/9/12 months once several seasons have come and gone the game will be in an overall better state.
I always held the infinity. People said I was a mad man but that was years ago.
Personally I liked holding the fin and running fcr everything.
If Charged Bolt is Penetrate Missile, that build would be better than nova or Chain lightning (and its not)

EDIT: Ok, I see there's Bear, Zeal and Bow? I've never actually thought of Enchant except in the context of giving some extra dmg to my merc.

If only that were true honestly. It's painful seeing people playing a game they CLEARLY can't stand and hate with every fiber of their being, just so they can make a 10 minute youtube video to stay relevant and whatnot. It really is painful seeing it. Or to see streamers playing a game they clearly are only playing it for the chat to hopefully get a 5 dollar subscriber.
It's really sad to see. Overwatch 2 being one of the big ones recently imo. The game is such fucking garbage and people try to force that super positive energy stuff in some streams like smiling through the pain. It's pathetic.
Next sorceress skill suggestion from me is enchant, got a few options. Beast Enchant, Zeal Enchant, Bow Enchant.
i think you hit nail on head brotha, ug, lol, i've been tuning in out of curiosity to some of the other channels, and i'm thinking, like, are you guys really actually enjoying D4? like, I clearly see you talking good of it, but, really? you actually like this game? or do you just wish you liked it? i dunno man, i dunno... i've been as polite as possible in my vids but in truth i think D4 is pretty much everything that is wrong with modern games. heh =]
1 vote for Enchant Maxing! I've literally never even tried this skill.
On Diablo 4; It is very pretty... I feel the need to play through it just for story. It isn't the worst game I've ever played and if you pretend it isn't Diablo it is a bit more palatable.

@@OldSchoolGameSnob Oh man, your video pointing out the cartoony effects, coupled with me doing the very stupid thing of installing Diablo Immortal on my tablet when I was away from home for a few days (and hating the game after a couple of hours) now makes me see both D4 *and D3* (which I had played a LOT circa 2013) as just mobile games that are clones of DI, which I still associate with them ripping off that one mobile RPG to make DI. But I got D4 as a birthday present a few months ago (which made me rediscover D2 - yay!), I'm still gonna play it for the story... and I think everyone should. It's probably a cool story with cool cinematics, the kind we never dreamed of back when we were D2 kids. But after that I'm not so sure. Even though they seem to have put a lot of effort into the endgame experience from what I've heard, I don't know if I'll like it. I guess it's just a different game for different affinities - which makes sense, it's been over 20 years since D2.
D4 is basically an MMO version of Diablo 3. Not worth it in my opinion
I've been playing D4 early access right now, it's pretty fun! No where near as good as D2 though.
