I noticed that we have the same truck. I'm trying to get more output on my truck but Banks does not have any upgrades for the 12 ram. Or, does Gale? I see the peddle monster works great but, what about more power. I figure they do not do deletes. I run 100% Amsoil but, I get a lot of fuel in my trucks oil about 15k miles. I'd like to prolong it to 20K but way to much fuel... Because of the dpf. Like to get rid of egr because, I've gone through 2 turbo's in the last 2 years. I don't want to do efi live or what ever delete system. I run the truck like a 6.0..... And drive many miles. Hardly any idle time. Just warming up. Please get back with me.
One of the causes of fuel in oil is because of the wrong fuel being used. I'm specifically referring to biodiesel (B20 etc). B20 is not recommended in the 2012 due to it's hydroscopic properties, it allows oil to get by the cylinder rings. I'd recommend getting your oil tested by someplace like Blackstone. I do it every change of oil, differential, trans.
All coolants break down they do it in the Cummins as well. My 16 ram 6.7 just needed a little coolant, it was heated to the flash point at some point while driving you add a little more. That’s how it works if you have an egr cooler yes a coolant filter is worth taking a look at.
I have purchased pedal monster idash8 intercooler tubes banks manifold intake and waiting for cai on back order. 2022 dodge ram 3500 4x4 mega cab
I'm about to install the same intake on mine . How did you clear the code after the installation. I don't have a tuner.
Probably got CEL because you didn't disconnect the batteries???

What do you need a coolant filter for ? Are you an ex 6.0 liter owner?
Nope, after reading some results of testing done on fluid I thought it prudent. People take coolant for granted.
