My husband has an aortic aneurysm. It’s a 2mm from needing to do open heart surgery. Seeing this man continue to live after surgery is so inspiring to me. Thank you for highlighting this couple. They know the meaning of family, friends, and living well with less. This home is gorgeous and I’m so happy for them.
My dad had 3 stents put in: one to his lower aorta, and then both iliac arteries to stablize a huge aneuysm. He was 84 years old. He lived another 10 years, and in that time, he grew huge gardens, built 2 greenhouses, buried my mom (his wife of 70 years) and rewired a garage with a new electric box, overhead lights, switches and outlets. He's my hero and great example!

I know how challenging the recovery is and to see how this gentleman has turned it into something positive, what an inspiring story! So many people are scraping and struggling to afford a big and overpriced home on a tiny patch of land, while missing the beauty of nature and the enjoyment of life not working ones self into a heart attack or stroke from excessive and stressful work to pay off their massive mortgage! In the mean time, I’ve been clearing house, so to speak, looking at the old memories I didn’t realize I had kept all these years and allowing them to be set free, mentally and emotionally. I actually had an image of all those past negative experiences and traumas each being held for me by six inch tall beings and oddly enough all were dressed like various Star Wars characters from different planets. People who were part of those difficult times have actually been open to me differently and I feel so grateful for the healing that is happening on those levels that I feel in looking at this, how it is actually a blessing, no matter where it takes me. 🤍🩵💙💜🩷
Yes if someone had said we would have been in the van for that long may have given us pause. But then it was just one step in front of the other. Having someone that always had each others back gave great comfort on the stormy nights

I’m going to live my days out in a much too large house because my husband says it would break his heart to sell it. Meanwhile, I binge watch tiny house videos and dream of living in a home with so few steps to take and so few rooms that go to waste! We have seven bed rooms, 6.5 baths. It was great as we raised and home schooled the 5 children, but the youngest is almost done with college and it’s just the two of us in 6,000 sq ft. Anyway, I LOVE your life and your home and I’ll just keep living vicariously through Bryce and Rasa’s channel!

I have been tuning in to your channel for a very long time, and without question this is the first time that I have felt envious, (the good kind), of someone's home. My goodness, it is spectacular. What they've created is absolutely exquisite. Their taste is amazing. I wouldn't change a thing. And what an incredible story they have. We are very lucky that the block was covered in Privet trees and lantana a noxious weed here in SE Queensland so we were able to eradicate them and reveal the view

I too, as Sharon, didn't find the color orange favorable but it now delights my eyes. I love her magical vision. What an accomplishment they have achieved in building a place of wonder and amazement!

I’m going to live my days out in a much too large house because my husband says it would break his heart to sell it. Meanwhile, I binge watch tiny house videos and dream of living in a home with so few steps to take and so few rooms that go to waste! We have seven bed rooms, 6.5 baths. It was great as we raised and home schooled the 5 children, but the youngest is almost done with college and it’s just the two of us in 6,000 sq ft. Anyway, I LOVE your life and your home and I’ll just keep living vicariously through Bryce and Rasa’s channel!
I'm very impressed with John and Sharons stamina and determination. What you have built here is absolutely stunning. I do believe that it is my all time favorite from all of the homes that Bryce and Rasa have featured, and I have been watching this channel for a long time. God bless all of you!

Yes Marja when we were building at frame stage I said John we should have a window there we have 20+ different kinds of leaves out the window. So we made it happen. lol well John did

What an amazing story John and Sharon, you work together and listen to each other which is wonderful. You have come through what ever was happening in your lives from loosing everything, being in bankruptcy, living in a caravan then worked so hard and long to build a home and do what you have is inspiring to others like myself.

We are very lucky that the block was covered in Privet trees and lantana a noxious weed here in SE Queensland so we were able to eradicate them and reveal the view
