- Hello, I’m a plant parent who enjoys sharing what makes my photosynthesising babies happy. I’ve done a plant care guide on the Philodendron Gloriosum for beginners. But I was baffled when my once thriving Philodendron Gloriosum, started pushing out warped, torn, and yellowing leaves. This is that journey!

It’s buried too deep in the soil. This eventually causes rot and deformed leaves. This plant crawls across the surface of the soil. You can’t bury the main stem. It’s sits on top. I believe this will solve your issues.
Hi Rylan, thank you for your advice!
I agree!!! All mine crawl across the soil. But mine are doing the same shit as hers lol
The stolon is buried, you’re only supposed to burry it half way so it crawls. You’re rotting the main growing part.
Hi Amanda, thank you for your help!
Good luck! Hope you managed to save the plant!
Hi Theresa, Thank you! I'm working on a progress video for the plant now :)
I never had this problem, I have a few and they are kept outside yearound because i only have a wet and dry season, if it rains too consistently then I move them, good luck with her.
Hi Rey, That's incredible!
Possibly the pot?
It's too deep buried in soil. Gloriosum is a terrestrial plant, mine i'll ensure it's buried half above medium. At first it will look leggy, but once the roots starts to grip the medium..it will keep growing
Hi Lin, Thank you so much for your kind words
