we just purchased this one!! just two of us will be using it. i like the flexibility of the free standing table and chairs that can be used in other areas of the Rv if necessary
This is the unit we plan to upgrade to this summer. We do prefer the table and chairs over the booth dinette. We like how the table top rotates and it just looks nicer.
Ian, as is your custom, this is a full and complete review of this HT 5thW. The Cougar division, when it was initially put down on paper, didn't imagine an Alpine or Montana competitor. Nevertheless, over the years, it was evolved into a smaller Montana division; some 5thW rigs as good as or better than Montanas. The dining table and chairs don't appeal to me; I'd rather have a dream dinette which will make another bed. Also, I dislike the theater chairs; the middle arm rest occupies way too much space which, if removed, a person (or pet) could sit in. My solution is to have a love seat with a removable center arm rest; as with the 295 Montana High Country. InCommand, north-south bed and decent (but not great) tank sizes make it perfect. I agree with you, and other UA-cam reviewers, that the absence of the center island, with dual slide-outs makes for excellent space which I want.
