2010 Ford Fusion Sport - Exhaust Resonator Delete

Otherwise stock 2010 Ford Fusion Sport with the exhaust resonators deleted. This car is the FWD model and has the 3.5L DOHC naturally aspirated V6, with a 6 speed auto. Only other thing done is the removal of the intake resonator. This is my friend's car, who recently just got this done.

i just replaced my mufflers with a couple of flowmasters on my 2012 sport and its not loud enough, sounds really natural with a nice rumble thats not ricer at all but i think a res delete will give me exactly what i want

So the stock mufflers are still on at the rear of the car just no resonators up front right

Correct, rear mufflers are still in place.

What exactly is an intake resonator lol...? I have a sport too. Just not sure what you mean by intake resonator

Kyle Peyton All it does is quiet down the intake from the factory. if I do remember correctly, it was on the end of the stock airbox in the fender.

What was deleted? The two mufflers behind the bumper or the one after the flex pipe?

After the flex pipe. The stock mufflers at the rear of the car are still there.

Nope, it isn't a monitored portion of the exhaust system.

@@12345demonface you might be able to but keep the cut out resonater just in case you don't pass that way you can weld it back and be able to pass it

william mckenzie when you look under your sport in the middle of the car you'll see two large muffler/resonators and I just deleted them and put 2.25 tubing in place of them

Guy drives like an Asian women. Afraid to actually let the motor run. Let's hear what it sound like when you go above 4000 rpm. That video didn't tell me a thing. Put car in manual and drive the damn thing. Don't be scared.
