With Vinted, you can apply a filter so that everything you look at is new with tags on. The bonus of this is that if it doesn’t work out for you, it is easier to re sell xx
@ Your comment about spending your grandfathers birthday money reminded me of feeling exactly the same when my mother passed away. She had given me birthday money. I bought an apple tree for my garden, I watched it slowly grow and now it gives us such joy. Beautiful blossom in spring and a small amount of apples in the autumn. It’s a constant reminder of growth and love ❤️
So pleased to see you updating regularly. I have used Vinted for clothing for me and the family and have only had one item go missing and the money got refunded quickly, it's definitely worth it. Charity shops are still my favourite though 😊 Sorry to hear of your loss, hope you can be kind to yourself and that the rest of the month is easier. Xx
I pretty much only buy my clothes from Vinted now. I got my son some really nice things for Christmas from there..brands that I wouldn’t be able to afford new..go for it! 😊
my friend dressed totally using vinted for a wedding, this included outfit, shoes and handbag,,,,,everything was in tiptop condition...she also buys for her grandkids and everything is fantastic.....
i have used Vinted. It is very easy. My daughter uses it for all of my grandaughter's competition dance costumes. She recently bought her a tutu for an absolute bargain. New would have cost her £150!!!
My aunt buys her sons clothes on vinted, lots of stuff is new with tags, she also sells things he has outgrown but is in good condition. She hasn't had any problems.
I’ve sold clothes on Vinted and bought clothes and winter boots on Vinted. Not had any issue with them at all. I was a bit worried about selling but it’s soo much easier and quicker than Ebay and I totally recommend it for both buying and selling. 👍 x
I love Vinted! I’ve bought most of my clothes from there, it saves me so much money. I’ve never had a bad item but if you do, there’s a process to get a refund. I’ve never had to use it but you’re definitely missing out by not using Vinted!
I’ve bought tons off Vinted and only had an issue once when the item was smaller than described. I raised an issue and tooks photos etc and was refunded my money. Everything else I’ve bought has been exactly as described!
Dear Nicola, I'm so sorry that your grandfather died. I'm pretty sure that he would like you to buy something special for yourself though with that money. I bought your binder just before Christmas and I'm thrilled with it, and even though money is tight it is giving me a bit of security to know that if an emergency at least i have something put by. I've never used Vinted, so I can't comment, but there was an article in the Guardian slagging it off recently :).
The only issue I've had with vinted is when the seller fails to send your item. You do get a refund, though (not for postage). That has put me of a couple of times but out of say 50 purchases, I've only had two sellers do that. I've also sold on Vinted and its so easy. Give it a go.
Hi, this question may come across wrong but I don't mean it to so sorry in advance. How does buying flowers and bulbs fit in with a no spend year? Are you seeing it as something related to the boys?
It’s a good question to be fair. I’m seeing as two parts - one as part of the renovations to the house and two as part of bringing joy to my life. It’s not going to be lots of spending though. It’s a fair question to ask ☺️
Vinted = for me, mixed. I have bought organizers, makeup, skincare, 2 pairs of suede boots, new packs of underwear and christmas decs from there and been delighted. However the clothing is very hit and miss if buying used. Bought a bobbly cardigan I had to throw out, a Box2 T shirt that was so stretched it hung badly on me and you could see my bra thru it. All my fails on vinted are lightly worn clothing, because, for me, it hasn't been lightly worn. So I only stick to 'listed as new' for clothing on vinted. Footwear excellent tho.
I started using vinted last year made about £86 which was good most stuff I had to sell was only a few quid. I was really nervous about it. In general I've had a really good experience. I've only brought a few things but I always check people's reviews before I buy anything if they have a lot of low ones then I don't buy from them. Good luck.
Selling on Vinted is great and so easy, unfortunately the items I have purchased are smaller than they should be , shrunken in the wash , so mixed feelings really
The best thing about vinted is the seller doesnt get paid until you say you have recieved the item and are ĥappy with the condition. My friend had a jacket she bought that wasnt in as good of condition as she was lead to believe. She just told vinted and they refunded her money. I havent had any problems with anythi g ive bought off vinted though. As from next month ebay will be changing and will be very similar to vinted.
I was sick of buying plants that died year after year so last year I spent quite a lot on fake flowers and put them in pots in my garden. Oh my gosh I've had so many compliments on how nice my garden looks and the beauty is I don't have to do it this year as they are all still looking fine
Sorry to hear about your grandfather ❤

That’s good to know - thank you ☺️
Could you buy a cherry tree with your grandfather’s money, it would grow and be with you for years to come ❤
That’s a lovely idea actually 💜

Vinted buying wise is good, eBay is also good, but I would choose the one with the least fees when things are sold. Lovely garden envelope xx🦊🍂🧡
Made money on vinted and bought some great stuff too. Not had any issues, just great value for money! 😊
Good to know! ☺️
I love vinted! Never had an issue! You can buy brand new with tags

The online Oxfam shop can be really good. Lots of sizes and you can return the clothes too I think.
I didn’t know this was an option! I’ll have a look ☺️

I would think of gardening as self care. Important.
