Key West is our absolute favorite place to go.
Typically rent a house for a week every year.
Sloppy Joe’s, the hogs breath, Margaritaville, etc…
The fort and the beach on the south side of the fort are just a few of our go too’s every time.
Going out on a catamaran, for some snorkeling is a must as well.
When we were there in 2005 for several weeks we stayed with our kids on Cow Key at the golf course as my son was in the Special Forces and was stationed there. One of our favorite places to eat was at El Siboney Restaurant.

We didn't loose keys but our shoes! We actually tossed the bag in the dumpster. Didn't know til we were about to pull out. Luckily we looked in dumpster. Ran back and got the awning pole to fish bag out

Don't tell Alaska, but I snuck my dog into cracker barrel when I was moving across country. It was hot out and we were in a VW bug not an RV, so I couldn't leave him in the car. So, I put him in his carrier purse, and he is a black Chihuahua, and the bag is black, so people don't notice him in the bag. I snuck him into so many restaurants as we drove across the country. At one Wendy's the person at the register asked me if that was a dog in my bag. I admitted my sin, and she and the other guest laughed. She said, "I won't tell if you don't!" Haha! I am sure the staff at Denny's also knew I had a dog in the bag but chose to just let it pass because he was so well behaved. I have also snuck him into grocery stores, but only if I don't have a place to leave him where it is cool. I do keep him on my shoulder when in places and not in the carts/buggies and stuff that some people do with their dogs.
We definitely won’t tell Alaska about this or he will want to come with us next

We stay at Venture Out on Cudjoe Key for Lobster season every year. Its a mix of rv lots and small 2 br vacation homes.

We're considering RVingwith our cats. How do you make sure they stay comfortable/safe when you're not there? Do you walk them or have a catio so they get outside time?
We don’t have a catio (my parents have one for their cats). We use a waggle to monitor inside temp or power outage when we are away from our Rv

Great video! Enjoyed it so much that it made me like I was there with you guys. Tip on keeping your cookies on boat rides/trips is to look at the horizon for a bit. But if you do need to, just do it over the side of the boat and not in the bathroom. That happened to me on a field trip I went on with a group of kids (worked at a private school). The captain of the boat told us that before we the pier.

I am sorry your batteries are not charging. Was it your chassis batteries or house batteries? If it's your chassis batteries my number one guess would be you need a new alternator. At least that is a simple fix if you carry a few tools. Safe travels and be blessed.

The new roads to Key West are great now but 45 years ago the bridges were so narrow I was always concerned oncoming traffics side view mirrors would hit mine. Especially since we were trailering a boat.

Be very careful with your sun exposure. My sister and I were born before sunscreen was. As teens, we sunbathed all the time using baby oil to make the tan deeper. As an adult, my sister used tanning beds for years. She has reoccurrences of skin cancer now. As for me, I live on a small farm so I'm in the sun. I've had 1 occurrence of skin cancer on my nose where I had to have surgery.

Hey guys, great video. I love the "real" RV life you all share. I have a side question for you. What type of set up do you use for mobile internet? And, how good is it? Those under bed things unfortunately don't last long either. They lose their shape pretty fast. Even though bins break, they hold up longer with tape. And your cat may also get stressed and chew on the plasticky material.
