Ive replaced my water pump 2019 Jayco North Point 385thws, triple axle toy hauler. Im a Fluffy fella in tight spaces!! I enjoy your videos. Full time RV Nomad since January 13, 2019.
You should see where the crazies put my water pump. It's in the far back corner with all the other pluming. I hope it never fails. We use motion lights in the pantry. I Velcro them in with the light shining into the cabinet. Defiantly one of the best mods yet.
For what it’s worth, a tool-tip i learned from UA-cam is that you can use a rubber band to remove the stripped screw. Lay it with a single layer flat across the screw. Insert your drill bit and it should grip the screw and remove it. ❤️❤️🌷🌷🇨🇦🇨🇦
FYI - Teflon tape on those fittings is inappropriate as the threads don't provide the seal. The seal is between the rounded/cupped ends. The threads just bring those ends tightly together. Teflon tape is really less useful than most believe for that very reason. You need to be aware of how a pipe/tubing joint seals to know if Teflon tape is called for.
Great video guys..! Also, when verifying the + and - of wires use the voltmeter by touching one wire with a probe and another probe to the metal on the chassis. Putting the probs on both of the wires will only verify that power is circulating through that part of the harness. I doesn't tell you which is + and -.. Cheers!
I had to laugh at Ben after his HD run. My saying is "It will cost twice as much and take 3 times longer to do the project" At least that is how it goes with my home renovation projects.
I went thru a similar issue. Found that the winterizing connection was for some reason sucking air regardless which way the valve was positioned. So i removed it completely since i will never have to winterize.
Hi again a ps to I use the motion lights in my cupboard I also have them under all my steps in the RV as you walk up lights go on when you step on them real safely factor thanks again
Hi guys I love those motion lights.i love full time in a rv.i use motion lights in all my cupboards and pantry in my RV you just open comes on in a dark pantry or cupboard thanks for all the great ideas and videos
a cleaner option you could have gone with on the 12V adapter, if you are planning on leaving that brick there and never using it anywhere else, would be to cut off the plug portion of it. All of those 12V cigarette plugs are only 2 wires, positive and negative, and then just wire that up to the buss bar. Could make for a cleaner install, but you are now making that brick a "permanent" option in that location. Or what I have done in the past is use some banana plugs or some other type of quick connect off amazon and have an option for both.
Enjoyed the video. I am not one to take on those types of pry. My husband is extremely handy, so I have no reason to take on things that I am uncomfortable with.😉
Love your closet doors in your bedroom. We are in a 2013 tiffin open road red with mirrors for closet doors. The mirror slide from time to time which is a pain to get back. Can you share how you did your closet doors?
I keep my doors locked in my cars at all times, even when the act of shifting to park unlocks the doors, I immediately lock them until I check surrounding area to get out.
Yes seems there is always some going on for used motorhome. I found out I have a water leaking at the bottom of my side radiator. A RV repair shop quoted me a 10 hours job and they would try to keep it under $2,000 . Well I ordered a radiator leak tester off Amazon will be here this coming Monday. I will find where the radiator leak is my self and try to fix it myself. I'm sure with parts and maybe other things added to there quote it would be closer to $3,000 to fix this problem. I will let you know how I fixed this if you would like to know. Also I figured I could use the radiator leak detector kit on my car as well if ever needed. The radiator leak detector shipping and all was around $50.00 .
RVs are made by man not machines a worker has a bad day he will miss things during the build and the other thing is there is too much torque n twisting on the road it’s almost near to impossible to have something that strong that it won’t twist n torque, in my opinion rvs are made to last for weekenders not full timers because weekenders are on the road so little it takes a long time until something breaks by all means use a Rv for full time living but the Rv won’t last it’s impossible ,I’m a weekend camper n my Rv is 5 years n I have hardly no repairs to do but I’m sure if I lived in it full time everything will break just a matter of time, happy camping!
@@GratefulGlamper I really do wish the rvs were better made ! Maybe one day I can try full time rving unfortunately I do house renovations n at this moment it’s not possible for me. Happy camping!
You can try switching doors too. I would just put on a new magnet for the door so that you do not need to do more holes. I am a 72 year old female whose Dad taught how to do all this stuff. So total for GIRL POWER!
I was wondering WHY you had the doors hinged from the top when built. Having an extra hand is always nice, but most women traveling by themself, using something as a spacer under the door while aligning it works when an extra hand is not available. As far as lights, I would put one of the little stick on lights to allow the children to see what's in the back. A stick built house or a RV..repairs, maintenance is a continuous part of ownership. THANKS for sharing you journey.
Always enjoy your rv living stories! Woman power begins with girl power, so may I suggest including your daughter in your next project...even if she's not interested. They can certainly be a challenge though!

Did y’all go through the NRVTA course? I have been thinking about doing the online course
My husband did the online course and it has been very helpful!
We sure did and it was great! gratefulglamper.com/nrvta

Blessings!
When I do ANY plumbing, it seems to always be a three-trip to the hardware store project!😵💫
You and me both!
Enjoyed the video. I am not one to take on those types of pry. My husband is extremely handy, so I have no reason to take on things that I am uncomfortable with.😉
You two are amazing
If you adjust the hinges you won’t need to trim the doors
Thanks! 🙏🏻 But what excuse would I have then to get the new oscillating tool!? ;) -Ben

Yes! We go over it more in this video: ua-cam.com/video/rc1TiTODya8/v-deo.htmlsi=GHJ1M8NMEOFag07E
We have those same motion lites from Amazon, fyi they don’t stay charged very long, I’m having to charge them every 3 days 🤷🏼♀️🤷🏼♀️
LOVE ALL THE MODS
Thanks!!
Home Depot should have them, as I’ve bought them there. I have a little plumbing back which has extra parts.

Why do things go together easier or faster in our minds.

I know you need it right now, but they also sell a flexible extension that you can put on your screw gun👍🏻🇺🇲
Good to know!!
Guess what, we're getting a Buc-Es here in Azout side of Phoenix in 2025, plan a trip west.
Nice!
❤😊 love your videos
Too bad MoreRide doesn't make custom sized slide trays for under the bed.
I know 😭
I think for a better and cleaner look I would check into some double cabinet doors for the bed. That way they will open out
Great video...girls = finesse, boys = bull in china shop when it comes to RV repairs! Don't see your nano dots, am i missing them?
Here is the link for the nano dots. amzn.to/3xv5cG7
@@GratefulGlamper Thanks!
OMG, use a sander.
Charity, you are "frugal," not "cheap!"
💯
I would.have just bought new magnets. Faster and easier.
👍🏻🇺🇲
KUTGW
I would have had them open and close like kitchen cupboards.
Great idea!
