    In this video, I make DIY 3D printer using Arduino Kit and stepper motor. Using this 3D printer you can make any object using gcode file from your computer. For making this you need to install cura , xloader and pronterface software.
    This project can be use as your college Project in the science fair.
    In this video, I introduced all parts that I used to build my Homemade 3D Printer and complete Build Process of Arduino kit.

    Imagine you make this printer, then from this printer you print out the parts for a bigger printer, then from that you print parts for a bigger printer until you can print like a 1 meter wide project. That's innovation. Anything done by your self is the best cause you know its all your effort and hey, CUSTAMIZATION POSSIBILITIES ARE ENDLESS!!!:p
    Edit = thanks for providing links to stores in india mate, really appreciate it. :)

      At a meter, the use of glue and inaccurate measurement of parts is likely to produce a large printer that breaks down quickly and doesn't create accurate prints.

      @@cosmothecat8626 I mean, it's got pencils and drinking straws for the axis guide rails. Those are going to bind like crazy. It's an acceptable 3D printer if you've got literally nothing else but whatever you washed up on a deserted island with, but you could get an i3 kit for less than this junk printer's BOM. Oh, and the i3 would give you a heated bed and a print area larger than a postage stamp

    this is the best of the DIY mini printers since it has larger XY- space (z is not so important.
    But i think this can be done with one motor on the Y axis .
    (when you change the geometry, i mean 3-4 bushings instead of 2 , and the driving motor in the middle)
    If you are missing some parts, here some ideas:
    The Steppermotors can be fount in defective printers. Belts+Pulley can be found in Scanners.
    Couplers can be made from hose or shrinktubing
    and the 8mm rod could be realised with a 8mm metric rod + nut instead

    • @hamzajamal5661
      @hamzajamal5661 2 роки тому +1

      Hi, I think printers use normal DC motors instead of stepper motors.
      And yes a single motor on the y axis could be a really good idea.

    • @vinayakonimani7628
      @vinayakonimani7628 2 роки тому +1

      @@hamzajamal5661 stepper motors are used to immediately change directions, which happens specially when u are printing something like a circle. Normal dc motors may run at their max rpm and switching directions is hard here. Although you can convert a stepper to dc motor and vice versa, its a pain.

    • @TheRaveCrocker
      @TheRaveCrocker 5 років тому

      Well I mean you can do this but it'll still cost you about 190$ for parts and enough filament to print the chassis but then you gotta figure out how to return the previous printer and be happy with a smaller build volume and poorer resolution
