- I cut to the chase from 1.7 Billion runes and farmed right to 2 Billion runes. I also finally committed the runes to set my Max Level 713 and 99 all stats. I'm at 594 hours with this character also since many people are asking.

Crazy at max lvl youll still get one shotted late game
At the end of the video I think I show the hours logged, but maybe 60ish was to beat the game initially and get the sword. Yes even at this level the mobs can kill you really quick, even died once at maybe 850 million runes, but able to recover and continue farming. Skill and technique matter with mobs and bosses.

I did this too, with Cheat Engine, in 30 seconds. Saved myself 594 hours.

What’s cheat engine? And this is a legit question. I’m level 391. But grinding for runes is so time consuming.
It is a PC thing. Console players are screwed. I am at 587 and getting fatigued. Would love to get to Max, but just doubt I have the patience. I will get 600 for sure, but that will probably be it. If I could use cheat, I would. But in the end, I do not believe there will be a noticeable difference in how 600 plays compared to 713.
Just saying you can get a script with the cronus zen and it automatically farm all the mobs in the area

Sacred Relic Sword that you can get after beating the final game boss. It has an Ash called Wave of Gold.

You know you get more runes at a higher new game plus for example NG+3 gives me with gold pickled foil feet and scarab it gives me 8,568 per one so it’s allot more efficient
Yes, I know... I initially started this to farm some runes and level some for NG+1... then got slammed with, work, life, school, baby. Told myself just farm a little for fun and save up for when I can play next... time went on and after the first time I capped runes I said, oh wow... think I can do that again to cap... still working through doctorate... hope to get my life back in 8 months... lol

Sacred Relic Sword that you get after beating the last boss, and the location is Mohgwyn Palace, if you search for the palace and chicken farm you might find a video on how to get there. If you are unlucky you will lose a finger on this journey...

My first video was 100,000 and that was April 14, 2022 and my last video at 2 billion runes was September 18, 2023. I did this a little at a time during that time. I figure I started actually more like in mid March 2022, so maybe roughly 18 months or 1 year and 6 months.

@@nispoe For sure. I’m most definitely excited for the DLC. I’m on NG+3. But being max level would be awesome. And I’m sure the DLC will still have its challenges no matter what. Even at that level.

I'm on NG+1, beat the game and then decided to do this. Original plan was to play through all the NG+ after maxing level, but haven't gotten around to it yet.

I know at some point I said the same thing, and then spent the runes and did it twice.
Now imagine if you had taken those 594 hours and spent them on ways of making real life currency where would you be
Ever since I was a kid video games were part of my life as a way to escape, relax, and do something while thinking deep. I'm a doctoral candidate and working with Artificial Intelligence. I will be a doctor soon, I think doing things like this probably does says a lot about me and how I tend do things. If I took these hours and did something else not sure I would be where I am. It's just me.
Money isn't everything lol, even the pursuit of money is only to make you happy. If you can be happy playing video games not having to spend all your money on it then that's an amazing thing. This person also seems to be pretty succesful mentally and academically lol

@@nispoe I feel that, I just bought Elden Ring 3 weeks ago (bit late to the party) but played it through with a friend, then again with another friend and now playing it again with the convergence mod lol 100% getting my money's worth out of this one

Lol, I'm trying, this is about the only gaming I can do while busy with life and new kid.
So let's say 12 hours a day. Thats 50 days of farming. At six hours a day (which is a lot for a dad) that's 100 days of farming.
If that farm got you 50k runes per run, that's 20k cycles to get 999,999,999.
Something doesn't seem right here.
it's more like 100k runes per run (actually 96,151 exactly), and if there are glowy eyes each one drops around 30k so about 130k per run if this happens, I think on average we can say 100k to keep things simple. Each run takes about 20 seconds. The first time I capped 999,999,999 took me 264 days (4/4/2022 to 12/24/2022). My videos postings every 100 million milestones give me rough dates. The second time I capped 999,999,999 took me 268 days (12/24/2022 to 9/18/2023). This is more like 10,000 runs each 1 billion runes at NG1. If someone did this continuous my math says this is about 55.5 hours over 264-268 days. This is about 4.7-4.8 hours a day. I spent maybe short bursts of 15 or 30 minutes during the day while taking a break from work/school/life, and at night if not busy would watch videos and could binge and spend a couple hours doing this before going to sleep. There were some nights for example while newborn was just born where I did grind all night because the kid didn't sleep. I would stay up all night helping with him and when he slept would grind away maybe 1-4 or more hours throughout a night. So some weeks were heavy and others light.
