@@emptyskies3074 I think I started around the same level, also I chose to go NG+1 but didn't have to. When I triggered NG+ my map progress all reset, so had to discover everything again. I feel I should have stayed on my first game and explored more.

My reason for doing NG+ is I missed many items and I want to duplicate some gears. I don't mind going to find varre agen then succumb to madness with vike, going up to stairs with zombies and finally gang piled by ninja turtles. 😂🤣

@@patrickdepaolo8932 I used a 5975WX Threadripper Pro and this motherboard so I can run 16x PCIe 4.0 on all 7 GPUs.

I think if I farmed 24/7 this would go faster, but just did a little at a time every day for about a year.

I maxed my level not to be strong. Did it for a totally different reason. I did it more as a hobby while working through my doctorate, which I just passed 4 days ago. So guess I'm now level 713 and a doctor.

@@SpiritualRandom I have a feeling if I played the game and leveled I'd have more experience. My hope was that after I finished school I'd be able to switch to playing and with max level for fun. This past year has been brutal to me and my time.

Yeah, takes a lot of determination, but after doing it for a little while and for so long I sort of miss just grinding. I do wonder how many NG+ I could do.

There are only seven slots so setup with seven only. I have a video coming where I show all seven, but been busy using the machine once it was up and running.

Got confused though cause I always thought the gold wave was much more similiar to the dark moon greatsword magic arc . A smaller little arc that you can shoot at enemies but doesn’t have much distance, etc. had NO CLUE its that big of an arc and get go that far and take out enemies . That’s so damn cool.

Yeah funny right, and I think this is smart how Elden Ring calculated classes. 8 attributes × 99 = 792 total attribute points. 713 Max Level = 792 total attribute points − (713 max level − starting level). I think I started as a Wretch so: 80 attributes to start + (713 max level - 1 starting level) = 80 + 712 = 792. If you start as a Warrior: 87 + (713 - 8) = 87 + 705 = 792. Same if you start with any other class example Hero: 87 + (713 - 8) = 87 + 705 = 792. Example Confessor: 89 + (713 - 10) = 89 + 703 = 792. Example Samurai: 88 + (713 - 9) = 88 + 704 = 792.

@@nispoe yeah its fun, just make sure to play with friends in real life or on the game, or it gets really boring. People say fortnite is a kid game, but in it's really not. Theres a lot of advanced things. And based off your video, I can assume you like putting time in games. So even tho fortnite has a reputation of kids saying the n-word, its still a fun game. Just about 85 hours

The sword is the Sacred Relic Sword you get after beating the last boss in the game. The sword has an ash already applied called Wave of Gold.

@RyzorX-YT NG+ is optional, if you do an NG+ much of the game is reset, so have to explore everything again to reach areas you already did in the first playthrough.

Really want to, but too busy right now. Working through my doctorate and defense is this month.

I haven't tried the DLC yet, but I looked up the tender and it says 40%. Each run was about 20 seconds for 100,000 each run. This would be around 140,000 each 20 seconds. If these tenders are easy to get this may be useful, but I tried other consumables and found that it was just easier for me to just do the farm instead of taking up too much time prepping.

on NG+7 its approx 9.5k with old gold foot and just over 10k with new gold horn (with gold scarab). New Gold horn doesnt stack with old gold foot though :(

@@septia101 Either way is not a lot and there are no huge shortcuts to legitimately do this. I just did this as a hobby on and off.

@@yousifalsendi1581 I think only the golden scarab, I avoided consumables because of the time it took to collect. For me this was a quick hobby at times, and I didn't want to spend time gathering items.

Depends on how focused you are and what you're farming. I was farming on and off for about a year. If I did nothing else I bet from 358 to 713 would take maybe a few months, but that would be all I would be doing, and to be honest probably not fun.

Yeah, the game still has mechanics you need to learn, can't brute force everything. I didn't do this to make anything easier. Did this because I can and wanted to max things out for fun.

Roughly on and off during a year or so. Sometimes I'd jump in for 15 or 30 minutes as a hobby each day, and other times I'd binge some show while grinding away for a couple hours or more when I couldn't sleep.

The Wave of Gold is something that came on the sword. The sword is the sword you get after beating the last boss. I think this is special to the sword, but maybe you can pull this off and apply to another sword, but haven't tried. Maybe worth looking into on next NG+ games.

It depends, I think I did a calculation before and posted somewhere. For me to get from mid 200 to 713 took roughly a year of on and off playing. My sense is for 600 to 713 if dedicated could take much less time. Maybe a couple or few months if this is all you did?

Probably not, but as a hobby for a completionist or OCD it was a good feeling to finish...

I believe that's what the 32GB Optane is supposed to be good with SATA magnetic drives and will only help mostly with loading and caching. Have to check the compatibility to set this up with your i7 7700 since the Intel software is picky, and have to make sure your motherboard supports Optane. The framerate may not improve much with and SSD upgrade. Most impactful parts during gaming are RAM, CPU, and GPU. For quality of life to load a game or save a game, etc, the hard drive matters more. There could be fps loss if the system has to swap, and then if this happens performance overall would be poor. Gold is for durability and work stuff, I would go with WD Black for gaming if going magnetic. If you can instead get a WD_Black NVMe PCIe 3.0 SSD like the SN750/SN770 or if you can spend more go with SN850/SN850X.

@@nispoe black wd hdd vs wd blue the only differences is cache? or it runs better without inntegrated cache? Yes mine motherboard have optane compatibilty,u think will run better with wd black than a wd blue?

@user-kv5he9np2y If you are going for a magnetic HDD with Optane think the blue will be okay. But if you get an NVMe SSD the blue will feel night and day compared to the HDD for gaming.

I was at NG+1 and only focused on leveling as a hobby since this was something I could do in short bursts of time.

NG+1 only beat the game once for the sword and then started grinding away
