it's not just farming runes that would take time to get a 100% save, you would have to do a LOT of playthroughs to get enough ancient dragon smithing stones to max every weapon. what would the average time be to run from the beginning of the game and complete another NG as fast as possible while also doing the quests to get the smithing stones?
@@eyegonofcarim The scaling increase for each difficulty doesn’t really matter, 99% of your growth will happen in the first run and from there you are just running through stuff. You’ll end up with shorter ng+ runs than your initial playthrough.
I was going to mention the 10 runes(?) you need to give to Thops before he will open his shop to you, but I looked it up and you can just kill him and get his bell bearing so I guess it doesn't matter....

I dont even know where the numbers in the video came from but the over all price (44.6 million and 1.74 billion) was right so yeah.. just was looking at too many numbers for my tiny brain

Everytime I want more runes Im gonna speedrun the game to get a NG+ boost. Trolls went from dropping 1300 with Golden Scarab to 6000 runes with Golden Scarab on my Journey 2. The bad thing is beating the game again makes me not want to play anymore it’s not fun once you beat everything it was fun the first time when the game was still being explored. All that’s left for me is pvp, reaching max level, and trying a new build.
2:40 As an Oldschool Runesscape player, that 2.27 days is really not that bad at all. It took me ~80 hours of training Agilty to go from level 95 to level 99 as the last skill I needed to max. No regrets.
Not true, Patches in the unpatched version of the game gives unlimited golden foul foot for 600 each I've got max storage and inventory with one big purchase. Just go kill one boss on NG+ or kill Elden Beast or late game boss to get 300,000 runes and buy it all from him

It takes roughly 600,000 runes to upgrade a single weapon to +24, the Somber ones are way cheaper at around less than 100,000 It takes me 2 minutes to get 500,000 runes on NG+4 so 10 minutes for 5 million and X 6 = 30 million in one hour So 2 hours and I get all materials for every item Upgrade Might need to do it a few more times so I can upgrade the actual item but that would be it The spirit ashes Will be simple enough Edit: correction, it takes 220,000,000 to get all upgrade materials for all 239 base weapons not including the somber ones. Doesn't really change anything for me, I'll still farm for it, just takes a little longer Ps, by the time used this, I have f8nally gotten all 377 items in game to +25 and +10. Bruh. I've had everything in the game maxxed out for months now. All Ashes are fully upgraded and every weapon in the game is at least +9/24. I'm still farming Ancient Dragon Stones to get as much stuff to +10/25 as possible before the DLC though. My main is on NG+19, I think, but I capped him at lvl 350. This fuckin DLC needs to come out......

Eh idk getting to level 713 is a bit extreme for the dlc you'll cheat yourself out of the experience saying it was too easy and you don't understand why people had a hard time with it. Maybe get to Morgot and get to maybe like lvl 100 on a new account so you get the intended experience from the dlc. From has a habit of you being able to access the dlc about half way through their games. The difficulty is usually scaled for players around that level. I guess if you want to breeze through the dlc like it's nothing and be like the souls Bourne players who did it too and didn't like the dlc and be like. im on like journey 12 or 13, but only level 426 i think (as did farming with sacred sword method partly through each journey), would like max level but farming the runes is slow for me now i feel as its 3m+ runes per level up also i dont have person to do the dupe lord runes glitch also.
It's 600 million less souls if u would just forego intelligence then u have everything else 99, u don't need mind above 40 either so it's more like 700-800 million souls total to get a max level playing experience.

yes well my game starts lagging when i get 500k runes from farming and only lags the more i get. and that lag is tied to when i rest at the bonfire. takes longer and longer for everything to reset. at about the 800k it takes a good 10 seconds for everything to load. and the more i farm the longer each wait gets. so to get 1.74 billion runes i would most likely either need to wait like 30 minutes per rest or my game crashes way before that XD
after the dlc has been released for a few days i will say this, a full upgrade isn't needed but for anything like ng+1-7 if you can't dodge very well and health is your problem then try leveling up a bit and ofc use scadutree fragments
Clearly you would want 2 of every weapon just in case you want to dual wield everything too.

Forgot to factor in weight. Heavier weapons cost significantly more to upgrade with the heaviest of weapons costing around 100k+ runes from +0 to +25

The $60 price tag for Elden Ring is a steal honestly. You actually get a full game with 100s of hours of replay value.
Note that teleporting back to the grace after clearing is faster than running back to reset.
But that resets the buff so you have to use the pickled foot every run again which is expensive
