It was just an attempt at trying to appear at ease like he wasn’t freaking out about him being the guilty party. However, he forgot that he was supposed to be freaked out about his family’s murders.

Now that we know the verdict and after watching these videos over and over again (because I am so intrigued) now I have to ask who is the young lady that sits two rows behind Alex to his left. Is she s sketch artist, reporter or what? She’s there almost EVERY day. She stares at the back of Alex’s head the whole time sometimes she look away but not often. Just curious.

A very key point from the 911 call - as every true crime junkie knows, 911 calls begin recording right after you key in the number, BEFORE the operator answers. Listen to Alec's call, total silence, no hyperventilating or crying, not a whimper, not a sound, and then the operator answers and he starts the melodrama. No one goes from absolutely nothing to hysteria within a few seconds unless they are faking. I hope the prosecutors mention this.

I have been watching several videos of the trial.
This video just convinced me he killed his wife and son.
I am a retired PO. I proudly did the ‘deed’ for 37 long years in two major police department.
The fact that if I just showed up to the double homicide of your wife and son, and you start, unsolicited, telling and giving me a possible ‘motives’, not ‘suspects’ for the ‘killing’ of your son and possibly your wife, tells me a lot about where your concerns are.
As we cops would often think when a ‘possible’ suspect voluntarily offers ‘motives’ o ‘reasons; “What is the price of oranges in China has to do with what is going on here.”
The fact that the ‘reporter’ is too ready to help and not distraught considering what he just found, is a clear ‘red flag’ that something is not ‘right’.
Would I be ‘greeting’ anyone at the scene as if I was just walking down ‘Main Street’ while my wife and son are laying on the ground with their brains splattered all over the place? I don’t think so.
This ‘lawyer’ is going down the tubes.

If I am a Juror, the lack of preparation by the defense counsel to have the body cam footage at least broadly catalogued with quick reference time points, and their ineptitude at adapting in the moment, to present sections of the video in a timely manner, is highly irritating. They had this video in discovery for MONTHS before trial, so the lead Defense Counsel saying "I apologize Judge this technology is difficult" is pathetic. You can't blame the technology IF you haven't properly time stamped the transcript from you are improperly READING FROM in your cross examination. He's saying "I want to hear page number____" well, the defense team SHOULD HAVE at minimum, included their own time stamp reference range for each page of the transcript they possess. It's sloppy and disrespectful to waste the jury's time with these unnecessary delays, and frankly, blaming it all on "technology" is disingenuous. I am not impressed with the Defense Team at all.

I had to really try to focus while the paramedics worked on him, to answer their qestions.

I found my friend passed away by a self inflicted gunshot to the head. Over 30 years of friendship and he was never depressed, on medication or talked about 5uicide ever. It was very obvious he was dead but I was in so much shock I was viewing all the blood as vomit. It didn’t make sense but I didn’t see the gun and dark stuff was all over him. I couldn’t move. I couldn’t touch him. I couldn’t process anything. When help arrived they were asking me questions but I was going into panic attack. I have two police reports with me saying very different things and I don’t remember any of it. I do remember constantly asking is he dead? Is he dead? Over and over and over. I wasn’t screaming or hysterical. Let’s just say it was obvious he was gone. At the hospital I could answer questions better because they got me calmed down. I saw the video of Alex and his reactions seem very normal to me. I would start crying but try so hard to stop so we could figure out what happened. I still didn’t know he took his life at this point. Another friend on scene was yelling No very loudly to the police. He was angry but for the most part it was calm. When Alex is quiet he looks dazed and in shock. I just zoned out if someone wasn’t talking to me so I was grateful for conversation in a way. I can’t judge people anymore at the scene. I don’t know if Alex killed his wife and son or not. It is definitely likely someone else might kill them. He is a bad man stealing money like he did but I don’t necessarily think that makes him a killer. I look forward to seeing the evidence.

The Behavior Panel is a UA-cam channel consisting of four experts in body language who upload videos every Thursday, where they analyze clips of different people who are talking on camera, or being interviewed, etc., (usually criminals, although recently they talked about Harry and Megan and the Johnny Depp and Amber Heard and others), and they analyze their body language and speech and give their opinion as to possible deception. All prepared with the "boat" story which he tells without even being asked to try to keep eyes off of him. It appears that Alex and his lawyer continually cover his monitor with white cardboard so Alex doesn't have to see the two people that he brutally murdered. I feel so bad for the dogs. They know something bad went down. Especially labradors which they all were. They are companion animals and they know when something is wrong with their humans. I also feel bad that they are stuck in kennels for most if not all of their day.

It didnt sound like he was prepared w a story. Fathers sonetimes and lawyers have to pickup w/o falling apart. Also say hi how ya doin, he was reported to say that when he was in the presence of an attorney who was suing him. Public life sometimes thats an autoreflex. Ive actually done that at the worst of times. No not in a situation like this but a funeral.

There are several documentaries on this family and the defendant. American Greed and the ID channel covered a lot about this case and the Murdaugh family. It's probably a foregone conclusion that he's guilty as sin. This man is in all sorts of trouble.

I don't think anyone wants to be associated with this man or with what remains of his family at this point. That's a small enough community that they pretty much understand what's gone on and can watch what they want as a lot of people are from afar. What I can't believe is that his remaining son sits there in support of him I suppose or morbid curiosity but no matter how much I loved my Dad, I would not be seen as publicly supporting his criminal activities, including the probable killing of my Mom and brother. But that's just me. Perhaps others, or most would do what this son is doing. I just couldn't.
