Sam Harris saying that he doesn't really think or worry about what the audience wants bc someone is always upset about "something"... That has ALWAYS been true! It's why there is a saying "you can't please all of the people all of the time"
Sam Harris is a bigot, islamophobic, thinks black people are inferior and so on. That's it. If you aren't smart enough to figure that out and think he's some profound intellectual, then I feel bad for you.
He was talking about it from the perspective of someone who benefits from having a larger audience listening to what his opinions are on a regular basis
Its a bit obnoxious when the ad breaks are midsentence, i get that its to come in a moment when we are the least prone to stop watching but it really messes up the flow of listening to the point where it becomes difficult to understand the full context
I finally got fed up with the constant ads and got an ad blocker for UA-cam. They don't seem to realize that their users have limits. This is what I got from this discussion. Through truth, we counter chaos. Rationality, reason, and logic were in full display throughout the entirety of this video. Thank you, gentlemen, for the display of integrity and authenticity.
@adifferentlight5530 I'm not sure if truth can be chaotic. Well, it is true that there is chaos, but it is not true that truth can be chaotic. Truth can bring about chaos if you leave it in chaos. However, if you consistently seek truth, then it's only a matter of time before all is revealed.......... I guess that would be mostly in the objective world.
@@ajs41 Ya, he's hard to beat in a setting like this, he's just such a gifted & skilled speaker, & he's lighting fast on his feet. I will add, those are all potential red flags for me. I happen to agree with most of what I hear from him & I do think he's a good actor, but folks who have that gift of the spoken word can be amongst the most dangerous in public spaces.

Sam won't debate RFK for the same reason he won't debate Bret Weinstein. People who aren't willing to engage but are bent on Gish Galloping and making a frustrating discussion all the while gaining a platform that neither deserve.
i have to comment to counter all the negative comments about Sam. having followed and read everything he's done since 2005, the man is incredibly consistent. all of his actions and work align with what he says he is concerned about and doing. i can hardly think of a public figure with greater intellectual humility. for a decade he's invited incredibly smart people on his podcasts to talk about a variety of topics, usually with the purpose of learning from them. he's not a shill as he gives away memberships to his podcast and app for free. he isn't bound to audience capture as he regularly offends the right and left, and isn't on Twitter/ doesn't pay much attention to audience feedback. few people alive have done as much for "truth seeking" as this man, with the compassion and bravery to put himself in public and share a rare voice of reason for the benefit of everyone to think for themselves. i can't believe we are talking about the same person when i read all the hate comments for Sam, and i can only conclude those who leave such comments have very low intellectual humility and are emotionally driven. personally i am politically unaffiliated and i believe scientific understanding is the only framework for understanding reality, and i believe anti-science viewpoints are the cause of nearly every problem we face socially. Sam is the voice of reason, seeks out alternate viewpoints, and is constantly updating and correcting himself when he was wrong.
You do realize that Sam has said that straight up lying to the public can be justified? I'd take any "truth" from that man with a shovel of salt. And I actually used to be a fan of his...
@FRank, you seem not to know that Rogan has had them both. Harris many times. You should ask yourself why you yourself are spreading mis/disinformation against Rogan who you have made false claims against.
One of the best interviews I have heard so far. Sam is right about twitter. It is like a negative black hole of hostility. I learned a lot from these speakers. It gave me hope about the future.
Wow - what a contrast - this great conversation against the cesspit of many of these comments. First time I hear Konstantin Kissin speak, I was particular impressed by his views on protecting democracy and capitalism around the 1:40 mark.
@@scottstefan1 She's (the OP) objectively correct, as is the first commenter...Tom burns thru an enormous word count for a net negative impact on the topic at hand. Perhaps this video isn't the best example, but ya, it's a thing. What's far worse, though, is his dress. This is a supposed grown man. He's got a backwards hat, indoors, hyper-stupid shoes/pants/necklace...how has there not been an uprising against the way this man dresses on a very popular podcast?!?!???
It's tough to read some of these thoughtless comments. I catch some Impact Theory, but man, I'm happy to see the world through a different lens than some of these folks. Tom appreciates nuance, but it doesn't seem to transfer to his audience, unfortunately.
"being interested in what's ultimately true is the way that we can overcome out inclination to believe things that charismatic people tell us" Konstantin's answer for why truth is important is great!
I really cracked up at Harris saying if he said anything that tuned out to be untrue he would "lose 100% of my audience." In fact he has made objectively incorrect statements on several occasions
@@NicBur-td8jl Define Truth! sam can twist, turn, flip, sault and do verbal gymnastics -- yet he doesn't know what truth is. Without truth, he is just the same as RFK from a different perspective/world view. He feels he's right on every topic he speaks on, and anyone that disagree with him are conspiracy theorists, spreaders of disinformation, etc. Two sides of the same coin.
Maybe a cliche example but, Noam Chomsky has maintained a very well documented critical view of the state of Israel, as well as the history of its establishment and expansion. He has long condemned the treatment and status of the Palestinian people by the Israeli government and, more recently, the Netanyahu administration. I cant imagine that either guest would consider Chomsky a person lacking in critical thinking skills.. I wonder how each guest might approach Chomsky's perspective, and whether Harris in particular would consider platforming Chomsky and his views to be journalistically irresponsible.
@rde7202 If I'm understanding correctly... The assertion is that: Chomsky's analysis of the present conflict can be dismissed because of the consistency of Chomsky's anti-imperialist critique? While his commitment to anti-imperialism may not make him a Realist of international relations, it certainly doesn't undermine his intellectual integrity. Certainly not as much as precipitously disregarding his perspective would.
During COVID Chomsky was a complete failure and the worst of the worst of establishment tool advocating for restrictions on personal freedom ,forced vaccinations ,criminalization of law abiding citizens and of endless lockdowns ..he’s a tyrannical hack and an anti intellectual if there was one .
I like Konstantins slight reaction to having Sam interrupt him after interrupting Sam a few minutes before and then almost immediately after. Also the hosts backwards hat🧢 lol very funny👍
Sam missed a point with the Trump/Rogan thing. He doesn't want Trump to have a platform for his own reasons. However if Joe Rogan wanted to have Trump on he could just as easily have the opposition to Trump the next episode thereby levelling the "campaign commercial" scales. But he doesn't suggest that. Sam tries to sound so reasonable and fact based, but he has his own opinions that colour everything just like every other human on the planet.
Sam Harris is one of the most despicable, bigoted Zionist apologists out there. You should watch his speech justifying the Iraq war. He's an Israeli PR person pretending to be an objective intellectual.
A few-steps down from the surface Mr. Harris knows he is opinionated... he knows atheism is a "religious" choice and worldview (e.g. anti-religion religious-approach to life)... he SIMPLY prioritizes pursuing Ideal of truth-seeking-approaches as a paradigm for reasoning. If he used this methodology from within a flexible-perspective of religion, his perception of religion would change. He would simply call it a "bet/gamble" and investment of faith via intuitional reasoning. His focal concerns are... on "blind beliefs" that ignore reason etc. and refute refinements.
Why can't we just debate how a civil society can define right, relative to wrong, and proceed with how that society can establish guidelines under which those pursuing good are rewarded while, simultaneously, those pursuing what is deemed to be wrong, are punished to the full extent of the law?
Because power corrupts and the winners write the rules and the history books. Incurious people want easy answers. Civility is wonderful, but not if it as the cost of freedom. It’s complicated.
You are asking for equality before the law. That is NOT what the Islamo-Marxists want. They want special privileges, protections and entitlements. They do not tolerate opposition and have ways of silencing, censoring and criminilising wrong thought.
51:00 " "I had been a Maoist, and then when the Gang of Four was overthrown, I was completely distraught. I was bedridden for three weeks; it was a very painful experience for me. Not only because I had been wrong, but because I felt really embarrassed that I had been lecturing and pontificating with such self-confidence." -Norman Finkelstein are you guys stupid??
Konstantin, Tom: thanks so much for pressing Sam on the RFK request. It would be really helpful for him to roll up his sleeves and sort things out with RFK, but even seeing Sam's response to being pressed on the issue is somewhat informative (if a bit disappointing). Huge thank you to all three of you for your contributions to sensemaking.
Whether one agrees with him or not, Sam's stance has sound reasoning, essentially applying the logic of the saying "Never argue with stupid people, they will drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience." RFK is no fool, but the underlying point is some people like RFK will look at a body of evidence (take flat earth for example) and argue to no end an irrational conclusion on the evidence. So if you're in a position like Sam, in which you are deciding between a meaningful discussion on one hand, and arguing with a flat earther on the other, then opting for the former is understandable. I think Konst and Tom made a good appeal for Sam to consider bringing some of these RFK figures on to show a wider audience where some of their ideas are flawed. I tend to lean in their direction, but we would all have different standards for who we would invite on. For example, if I were a huge podcaster, I would never invite Alex Jones on because how he lied was so abhorrent.
Sam doesn't bother to mention how much he got wrong during Covid. We're suppose to be what he says now. It's everyone else like Tucker who are the problem.
Doesn’t everyone? He has an opinion but it’s usually rooted in science and objective rationale. What else is there? Religion or beliefs. They wouldn’t be “beliefs” if they could be proven in scientific terms - they’d be “facts or axioms”. Nobody “believes” 2+2=4. They “know” 2+2=4 because anyone can demonstrate it.
Hitchens was not a hypocrite he was against Israel and its policies. Sam on the other hand is a staunch Zionist in the garb of an atheist. He pretends he is anti-religion but will go as far as defend a far right extremist Netanyahu the PM of an ethno supremacist-religious state. Do the math.
I would love to see Sam Harris and/or Douglas Murray take on Norman Finkelstein. I was quite disappointed with Konstantin Kisin’s and Francis Foster’s interview. They barely challenged Finkelstein. It looked like a missed opportunity to denounce his endless fabulations.
It could be interesting, but everyone already knows exactly what lies and distortions he'll peddle, so what's the point? It's about as useful as debating a flat earther.
Finkelstein is a fraud who feeds his fans propaganda. Unbearable to listen to. Sad that people actually take him seriously, but that's what propaganda is for, it controls the intellectually lazy.
I like Konstantin but I've yet to figure out why I should listen to a comedian talking about geopolitics and current affairs etc. What are his credentials for talking about anything? Has he even read any books? He just talks with such confidence that it makes you think he's an authority of some sort but he's not actually saying anything.
Sam lost any credibility years ago. He refuses to acknowledge this and acknowledge there are other intelligent people out there. instead he says that he’s too smart to argue with others but instead will make a video to snipe then. I used to like him before he started trying to actually debate people with any sense and has made a fool of himself time and time again.
Did you watch the same video I did? Tom and Konstantin clearly meant to have Sam debate RFK and Bret...to no avail. Their reasoning was somewhat sound but lacked merit. Meaningful debate begins with an earnest willingness to change one's mind. This is called, "intellectual integrity". That some people will be persuaded to Sam's point of view was the earnest objective but Sam will write you off his list if you are intellectually dishonest. Sam's fan base knows this about Sam and demands it. As Sam has said more than once, "the next sentence out of your mouth could change my mind". He actually means this.
Sam’s point around 21:30 is so very true. Decent people. People of real Integrity are held to the utmost highest standard. Then some how, by way of deceit and corruption, the lying, sloppy ego maniac is the real hero and held to nil standards.
And the irony of himself, not appreciating or understandign the character development other people go through is magnificent. He is literally sitting there criticising Tucker Carlson while every single word he says is about himself and his own inability to accept a dynamic and changing world. It's like watching Sam address his shadow self while being completely consciously unaware.
If you can’t easily discern that RFK is a radish short of a salad, then I put it to you that your ability to filter bs and judge character is TOTALLY off…

Sam's not as bad as some people. I'm with Sam about 80%+. But there are one or 2 crucial issues he's pushed but has not personally researched - so he got wrong. Probably because he took his advice from clever debaters. Lots of philosophers are wrong for that same reason. Philosophers are brilliant at decieving themselves.
@@SaltAndVinegarFlavourI mean, most people seem to struggle with basic introspection and being aware of the various cognitive biases that every human being experiences. There is an irony in Konstantin pushing Sam to debate conspiracy theorists when it takes an order of magnitude more effort to debunk bullshit than to spew it. Konstantin exemplifies everything wrong with the podcast world: Being on any guest you want. Make no effort to properly research literally anything. Rely on personal anecdotes to justify wide-ranging conclusions. Then try and push someone else to do the work he refuses to while giving air to looneys and making the problem worse.
I actually had a first hand experience with the cognitive bias/uneducated position in discussion recently with my cousin. She’s in her mid 30s, definitely on the left and extremely sympathetic to the idea of systemic racism in policing. When I asked her of examples of unarmed black men being killed by police, I was definitely a bit shocked because she said she had a ton of examples. As we went through each example, I remained silent, she had about 9 examples. At the end I informed her that she hadn’t shown me one single example. When I explained to her she had shown me examples of black men that had been killed by police, but were in fact armed. I come to find out, she didn’t know what the word “armed” meant…I kindly let her know this was meme level ignorance on her part
I mean to be fair there is plenty of examples of unarmed black and white men etc being killed by police. Just because she's a moron doesn't negate that
Speaking about corruption. It is not how much they corrupt. If you corrupt, you corrupt. It is how much we ,the public, let them go away with it. Nowadays, in general, the public is clueless and oblivious about events around the world and inside the country. Divided, religiously support their leaders and agendas. It conditions perfect soil for corruption to grow without much resistance.
@MrNikeNicke yes, but thief is a thief. If you let him, he will steal everything. Same with politicians, they all corrupt. If we let them, they will steal everything. With public being oblivious and ignorant, basically that is what happens nowadays. They do what they want and getting away.
Having Norm Finkeslstein say the same thing over and over... there is already enough documented history of him repeating his own self importance, you do not need to platform it - again. That's how we relegate bad ideas to the dustbin.
And Sam doesn't repeat himself (or Israeli propaganda): human shields, Israel should defend itself, the IDF is a moral army, islam is an inferior culture. Repeat.
I think there's an underexplored area of whether or not people support Hamas or more specifically Palestine or whether they're against Israel. I think there's an area in which people look at Israel as the more capable nation of the two and expect them to de-escalate because they're essentially the bigger guy. At least in terms of firepower. I disagree with Israel 's use of force against Palestinians in the pursuit Hamas. But simply because they have the power to defend themselves and de-escalate a situation.
Get informed about matters before you embarrass yourself. Israel is surrounded by nations that truly hate them. Do you really think a death cult like Hamas would've lasted this long without help from other countries? Iran being one of them.
You disagree with their use of force against Palestinians- but they don't have a choice when hamas uses them as human shields to artificially inflate the civilian death count- and the Palestinians are largely *willing* to be their human shields.
While I agree with Sam on a variety of topics, his blanket praise and approval of the IDF and every atrocity they commit is genuinely shocking for someone who claims to be so independent of thought.
5:22 "I've never made the claim that anyone should listen to me" ... Spare us the false humility platitudes and grow a spine, Mr. Kisin. Say you believe in your ideas and demonstrate why they're good.
the fact that they lie is not the most offensive thing ; because lying leads to the truth ..It is that they lie, and then they worship their own lies . You see ?
I just want to say 2 things. listening to sam Harris 10-15 years ago really opened my eyes and mind to the potential of honesty and how arguing with humility and compassion can be moving and powerful. the second thing is this.. in the past 5 years, Sam has taught me a more important lesson, if you are a very compassionate person and an intellectual, its very easy to become the thing you would have once been disgusted by. I'll always have massive amounts of respect for Sam, but his ability to dismiss people for reasons that are at best half baked is really unfortunate.
Sam Harris is making an impact. He is a truth speaking person. I am very convinced that his perspective on what is happening is very informative. I admire him and respect his integrity.
Joe rogan... did fact check Alex Jones....many things wrte in time proven right. And which human has all things right. Sam Harris tries to use logic and good thinking. But doesnt do in depth study. There is stuff out there experts have explained... he never heard off. Like doctors still finding new information on covit vaccines.... etc. No one is talking about.
Like Sam Harris hasn't been caught lying. 2014 he was all "Mr. Conversation", "Society is a series of successful conversations", "Conversation is all we have." Years later he starts defending leftist censorship so long as it came from corporations, under the guise of "just start your own company" (and opposing Elon when he buys the company), "we can't risk talking about dangerous ideas right now", "sunlight is not the best disinfectant". As a fan of Sam for over a decade and a buyer of all of his books, listener to all of his podcasts and appearances, he ABSOLUTELY has been more dishonest and shifty ever since Trump.
@@KevinSolway Yeah quite possibly...I notice Richard Dawkins has been quiet about what Harris has been saying. Dawkins is totally against the trans bullshit that Harris has been pushing.
As most of the anti-sam crowd you trivialize everything that he has said out of context and strawman your way out with a juvenile black and white mentality.
Excruciating to hear sam bend over backwards to defend Israel's killing of civilians "well what's the context"; if you're going to be a moral relativist you might extend that same grace to the palestinian struggle for territorial integrity. What's the context of the palestinian resistance to the Israeli regime? Are there any consequences to an occupation of one state of another? Did it all start on October 7th or perhaps was there a little bit of context beforehand? Mindless, squalid angle
What’s crazy is that someone who discusses peaks and valleys on a “moral landscape” can also speak of context in this issue. It’s the reason I went from seeing him as a hero to a zero.
It's "Excruciating " knowing that people who seem intelligent don't get that civilians die in war, and of course they die while being used as human shields. The context of the "resistance" is that if Hamas disarmed and signed any deals Gaza would be in great shape. of course they wont though, because their goal is the genocide of all Jews in Israel. There's no territorial claim to Gaza by Israel, so they don't "resist" the "occupation", they want more.
Tom! Thank you for always coming back to your Northstar! Sam's characterization of the trump phenomenon, as in essence a form of entertainment is absurd. People are happy to accept that he lies since the alternative choice (Biden) is perceived as being that much worse.
Honestly the ego of an average mind stretching for superiority... Does this sort of comment make you feel superior or something? He misspoke, his mouth said contrite when he very clearly meant to say contrived. I can't say I particularly enjoy his show and I only listen if there's a compelling guest but this is so pathetic and there's so many nonsense comments like this here. Grow up and find some humility and good grace or you're just wasting your time listening to anything of substance.
@@stephenphillips3883 How did you arrive at this judgement about my mind, that it is "average?" Is it because of my reference to "The Princess Bride?" I'm impressed no matter what your answer is. (Impressed at your temerity as well as your arrogance.) And, for the record, I thought he was intending to say "trite" in place of "contrite" since your suggestion of "contrived" is a past participle adjectival form whereas "trite" is a simple adjective which feels closer, but perhaps you are right. My mind is too average for me to ever know for certain.
41:12 I would push back against the black parents “have to have a talk with your kids”. I am white and my parents are from a military background, I was told from a young age and reiterated as I got older, that if police pull you over, you act as respectful as possible, comply completely even if you think it’s an error, because they have a very hard job with a lot of stress and their choices are based on split second choices that could mean they live or die. I was also taught that if you act like a criminal and dress like a criminal you will likely be treated like a criminal, because a police officer has to make choices for their safety based on impressions and patterns. That is reality.
Right. Don’t put on that Black skin when you go out of the house? Is that what you’re saying? What does a white collar criminal dress like? A presidential candidate?
The first 4 and a half minutes is shots fired at Tom. Probably unintentional but as much as I love the podcast, he is guilty of doom and gloom titles for clicks. At this point and with the amount of success and viewers why do that?
Konstantin tries to be an intellectual, Sam IS an intellectual. I appreciate some of Konstantin’s insights but so much prefer Sam’s heavily thoughtful and experienced approach.
It is quite a stretch to assume that those protesting against alleged genocidal acts against the average Palestinian must also be in support of Hamas. Is it not possible to support both Palestinians and Jews while opposing bad actors in the form of Hamas and political Zionism? I'm open to being educated.
This is a conversation and not a debate - they both agree in the same points. Where they differ is execution. Sam prefers to critically analyse, Konstantin prefers combative arguments. I must say, Konstantin needs to understand that some personality types are unable and unwilling to have combative arguments with idiots. Sam has a calm explanatory type of logic that will simply not work against the Alex Joneses of the world. They would mock insult and yell, backed by their equally obnoxious and vociferous audiences. I can see why Sam wouldn't want to get into debates with people like that. Konstantin should learn to be more respectfull of Sam's approach. Rather than accuse him of sitting in a castle critiquing but not changing things, he should understand that by simply sharing his views and helping people think more rationally, he is contributing to the fight towards faulty logic in his way.
Sam have many flaws, he talks as if he is intellect and against the corruption. This intelligent is corrupted and rotten without self realise with major TDS
I agree with almost everything Konstantin said in this conversation, and was disappointed with the other two. But I'm British so I prefer Konstantin's indirect approach to the direct approach that Americans usually prefer.
Great debating! However, I wholly disagree with Tom and Konstantin on who should be interviewed. What if the leaders of Hamas contacted you daily for an interview? Do you really believe someone should be giving them a platform simply so all ideas are heard? I think not. Do either Tom or Konstantin have children? What a privileged life you must lead to believe that perpetuating ideas simply because they’re gaining popularity is a smart journalistic approach in today’s world. Ideas have the power to possess others….don’t give them massive platforms lightly. Also, engaging in that under the presumption that your audience will be wise enough to discern truth, in real time, or for that matter, believing you are wise enough to always do that 100% of the time is highly arrogant and utterly impossible. I do agree, it can be powerful to debunk ideas using these platforms, but I think, and what Sam is saying, is that should be done VERY specifically, and by the utmost qualified people to do so. Anyhow, thank you for a great podcast.

Rationality, reason, and logic were in full display throughout the entirety of this video. Thank you, gentlemen, for the display of integrity and authenticity.
Through truth we encounter chaos. What if the truth is chaotic?
@adifferentlight5530 I'm not sure if truth can be chaotic. Well, it is true that there is chaos, but it is not true that truth can be chaotic. Truth can bring about chaos if you leave it in chaos. However, if you consistently seek truth, then it's only a matter of time before all is revealed.......... I guess that would be mostly in the objective world.

i have to comment to counter all the negative comments about Sam. having followed and read everything he's done since 2005, the man is incredibly consistent. all of his actions and work align with what he says he is concerned about and doing.
i can hardly think of a public figure with greater intellectual humility. for a decade he's invited incredibly smart people on his podcasts to talk about a variety of topics, usually with the purpose of learning from them.
he's not a shill as he gives away memberships to his podcast and app for free. he isn't bound to audience capture as he regularly offends the right and left, and isn't on Twitter/ doesn't pay much attention to audience feedback.
few people alive have done as much for "truth seeking" as this man, with the compassion and bravery to put himself in public and share a rare voice of reason for the benefit of everyone to think for themselves.
i can't believe we are talking about the same person when i read all the hate comments for Sam, and i can only conclude those who leave such comments have very low intellectual humility and are emotionally driven.
personally i am politically unaffiliated and i believe scientific understanding is the only framework for understanding reality, and i believe anti-science viewpoints are the cause of nearly every problem we face socially. Sam is the voice of reason, seeks out alternate viewpoints, and is constantly updating and correcting himself when he was wrong.

And he replied to my undergraduate email when I was researching the issue! The man is a titan whether you agree or disagree!

That's why I like Theo Von. He interviewed Trump, Bernie Sanders, and an ordinary plumber all in one week.

Sam Harris is one of the most despicable, bigoted Zionist apologists out there. You should watch his speech justifying the Iraq war. He's an Israeli PR person pretending to be an objective intellectual.
@@iknowmyself3643 Does Sam also work for Big Pharma? He seems to.
I think the answer is clear. Sam needs to run for President.

Give us an example where he over rates his" objectivity" and/or "rationality"?

I would love to see Sam Harris and/or Douglas Murray take on Norman Finkelstein. I was quite disappointed with Konstantin Kisin’s and Francis Foster’s interview. They barely challenged Finkelstein. It looked like a missed opportunity to denounce his endless fabulations.
It could be interesting, but everyone already knows exactly what lies and distortions he'll peddle, so what's the point? It's about as useful as debating a flat earther.

Do you have any idea what you are talking about? De-escalation is how oct-7 happened in the first place. Do you realize that?
Get informed about matters before you embarrass yourself. Israel is surrounded by nations that truly hate them. Do you really think a death cult like Hamas would've lasted this long without help from other countries? Iran being one of them.
You disagree with their use of force against Palestinians- but they don't have a choice when hamas uses them as human shields to artificially inflate the civilian death count- and the Palestinians are largely *willing* to be their human shields.

There's no territorial claim to Gaza by Israel, so they don't "resist" the "occupation", they want more.
is collateral damage context? If so, then there is no moral equivalence between Hamas and the IDF

The one thing that separates us all is our own perception based on our experiences! We can't change that! But we can be the change we wish the world should be! Thank you!❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Would Sam talk to the truly great scientists who stood tall during covid..dr Batacharya, Dr Kuldorff, Dr Atlas, Dr Ionnedis, Nick Hudson, Mike Yeadon, Dr Gold, Dr Marik, Dr Weinstein?
I've wondered the same thing.
Sam is okay with using lawfare and avoiding political interference as long as it’s for his side. That’s pretty clear now.
Sam's characterization of the trump phenomenon, as in essence a form of entertainment is absurd. People are happy to accept that he lies since the alternative choice (Biden) is perceived as being that much worse.
Which J is right?? I can't decide!!
Are these really our options...
every time i hear sam harris speak i'm amazed at how quickly he can manage to mention "trump bad" regardless of the subject being discussed.
bad TDS
Konstantin have been doing so great work reasoning and discerning new ideas. Sam used to do that until he lost his marbles with the pandemic.
Haha! You're funny.
53:01 "Contrite" doesn't mean what he thinks it means.
This guy completely kills the flow of the chat whenever he speaks
He probably thinks it's a super-mega-ultra-powered version of "trite"
Honestly the ego of an average mind stretching for superiority... Does this sort of comment make you feel superior or something? He misspoke, his mouth said contrite when he very clearly meant to say contrived. I can't say I particularly enjoy his show and I only listen if there's a compelling guest but this is so pathetic and there's so many nonsense comments like this here. Grow up and find some humility and good grace or you're just wasting your time listening to anything of substance.
@@stephenphillips3883 How did you arrive at this judgement about my mind, that it is "average?" Is it because of my reference to "The Princess Bride?" (Inigo says, "You keep on using that word; I do not think it means what you think it means.") Perhaps you're endowed with the telepathic ability to discern IQ from an 8 word sentence online? I'm impressed no matter what your answer is.
@@johnblack7862 lol
Enjoyed every minute
So much said in so few words.
@@ChrisHodges87 dude all your comments here were ad hominem, nothing of substance. Wtf is wrong with you
You want pathological compassion out? Take the vote from women.
That was so un-PC but so, so, true.
😂😂😂
I can only listen to Sam Harris for so long before his arrogance gets to me. Then a month later, I’ll go back for more. Goodbye for now 😊
The first 4 and a half minutes is shots fired at Tom.
Hes s comedian tbf
Heavily thoughtful bullshit
@@atticrat7270 Maybe you'll learn one day. Or maybe not.
It is quite a stretch to assume that those protesting against alleged genocidal acts against the average Palestinian must also be in support of Hamas. Is it not possible to support both Palestinians and Jews while opposing bad actors in the form of Hamas and political Zionism?
I'm open to being educated.
Crying for a child in Gaza is truly sad but when people see a Jewish baby dead burn in an oven not much cried in horror, why is that?
Because they know history and know the origins of it.
I feel sad for both, why does race or religion even matter?
@@cokechang right, cause for them the Palestinians been murder for the longest and no one seems to care.they pretend this ALL started in oct 7.
We lost millions of people defending the jews. Wtf are you talking about?
75% of Americans.. lol.... 😂
Sam Harris proves that you can be stupid & smart at the same time.
Sound smart*
Can someone provide the poll that shows 75% of Americans think Israel should go into Rafah?
He does say it’s a Harvard Harris poll.
Type “Harvard Harris poll Rafah” into Google ✌🏼
(Or a search engine of your choice 😅)

Sam Harris did not get much of a look-in here. He's exceptionally rational - a rare quality.
