    thank you for sharing. I'm currently searching anything that can improves brain health and energy level since I just diagnosed with narcolepsy. of course there is no studies yet that lion's mane can improve narcolepsy, but I want to try this after watching your videos. this makes me feel hopeful because that turns out there are sooo many options available to improve our brain health. thank you for your videos.

      Thanks for the comment. Sorry to hear about your diagnosis. It’s definitely a good idea to improve and support your brain health 👍 there’s so much we can do for that. Hope you find helpful things in my channel.

      Narcolepsy is horrible. I was diagnosed at 15. Im now 36. My advice is to get a regimented sleep schedule. Do not go under 8 hour or over 10. 8.5 to 9 hours is my sweet spot. It tooks me years to realize even though I can sleep 10 hours I shouldnt. It doesnt help and can make it worse to sleep too much. Focusing on healthy foods-getting all of the crap out of your diet. Look up foods that suppot ATP. They may help with feeling more energized. Excersise is crucial to also keep the body going and upping the matabolism as well as depression which comes with narcolepsy. Although it may not help in extreme cases the boost in energy is good for us since we arent really awake and we can get all the help we need. I no longer even think about myself as Narcoleptic after years. It doesn't have the same heaviness and center stage in my life..your body is renewed with all new cells every 7 years. Although they say there is no cure they also say its an autoimmune disorder therefore anything we can do to strengthen the body is beneficial to the symptoms of fatigue and inflammation present in our bodies and brains with narcolepsy. ❤ I have spent the last 16 years without medication for this disease. In the beginning it was debilitating but I had faith and determination.

    Hey thanks for sharing! Good informative info that helps me know I'm not just throwing my money out the window😂. Lions Mane really helps me with maintaining better mood/ability to help resiliency also memory/focus. I find when I take a lot I start getting flashes of old memories that I forgot of. Its a great add on to my other Nootropics. Another great one I found is Huperzine A. Have you tried that one?

    Good morning (it might be morning there soon, 6:45 am Pacific time here), thank you for the video.
    I will do experiments with lions mane when I'm back in Canada, in southern Oregon at the moment, and plan to do a lot of mushrooms when I return there as soon as the thaw allows. It's kind of dangerous on the road right now. But there will be lots of food and medicinal mushrooms growing in the spring, summer and fall to keep me busy.
    I do use rosemary for the purpose of memory enhancement (herbs in my food, essential oils in the sauna among others), but can't be sure if the effects help increase memory or simply maintain it due to the fair amount of poisons my body is dealing with from the environment here.
    I'm going to be 65 soon and memory is an increasingly important subject to me, mine started fading about 10 years ago after an accident that put me on IV antibiotics after which I had to regenerate my entire microbiome which, though killed off in the hospital, had been depleted from the harsh working environment as I was constructing a new aluminum smelter while parts of the old one were still working and pumping microscopic aluminum dust into the air in northern British Columbia causing a small scratch to become infected and necrotic. It's been a tough 10 years!
    The fault is my own as I spent years learning about the harmful effects of heavy metal particles on the body and just didn't think it would affect me that much. I was wrong.
    It will be back to the deep woods for me, I have a new teepee that I'll put to good use and all the skills and experience to live in the wild (I've done it before) with a community of like minded others to share with that I didn't have 30 years ago when I roughed it alone. I just wish I'd paid attention to micology back then.
    Once again, enjoy your videos and look forward to your next,
    Ciao for Niao

      @iaminkaland  Рік тому +1

      Good day to Oregon.
      I am sorry to hear about your accident. That sounds like a lot indeed. Thank you for sharing it as well - that's brave. At the same time, I am happy to hear that through those hard times came a self-realization that has led you to the path of health enhancement, self-compassion, and healing.
      Enjoy your travels.

      @iaminkaland  Рік тому +1

      @@mojowolfofficial So there has been a case of allergic reaction, some people who are sensitive to mushrooms (IBS etc) may have digestive issues but I don't think it's much of a problem with tinctures, and people who use blood thinning medications should consult their doctor before using Lion's mane. Of course, always consult your doctor before new supplements. Lion's mane is generally considered safe for most people but there might be special cases of adverse effect - as with anything. There's not much data in humans from long-term use but it's a normal culinary mushroom in China so I quess that tells something already.

      @DoktaBoog there are plenty of natural poisons. Staying in the mushroom family, just try taking as much as you want of psilocybin. There are 15-20 mushroom strains that are lethal. I'm not throwing shade at lions mane, just saying that a substance is natural does not mean it's necessarily good for you to consume in large quantities.
