Something I've noted in many fights that include speedsters who are supposed to be part of a team. They're always the first to attack and lose their patience before anyone else. Because to them, the world feels like it's moving too slow and it can't keep up with them. It makes them highly impulsive and impatient. As a result, they charge in ahead of everyone else and while they usually get a few good strikes in, it's almost never enough to take down their opponent. Because they don't have a real plan. Their plan is basically just: Be fast and attack him many times from different angles. Which brings me to another trait many speedsters share. Their attacks become predictable. They don't feel like they need to get creative or switch things up, because they move so fast, there's not much point to it. But when they go up against an opponent who can endure their many blows, their pattern starts to show and they can suddenly catch the speedster offguard because they've been relying on their speed, but not on their ability to improvise and switching things up. And finally, lack of power. With few exceptions, speedsters rarely hit hard. Look at Ikaris here. He looks like he's taking a real beating from Makkari, but in truth, it barely hurts. He's not bleeding, he's not even winded. He's just ticked off that she's attacking him, but he isn't really physically hurt. Then at 2:08 he hits her back once and she's immediately on the ground clutching her chest in pain. He lacks her speed, but he makes up for it in power. It looks impressive until you realize that Ikaris is basically just shrugging it off like she's being really annoying, rather than actually dangerous.
In hindsight, every technology that led to the arc reactor was from the concepts of Phastos passed down to generations of inventors. He did stop after humans made the atom bomb, but his work resulted into the Ironman, the super soldier and the gamma monster

A powerful alien that doesn't understand biology, society, logistics, etc goes : You know what would bring peace ? If i kill half of everyone. 🤔

The Eternals have two designations; Warriors and Thinkers. ikaris, Gilgamesh, Thena, Makkari, and Kingo are warrior Eternals which is why they hold up better then the others. Druig, Sprite, Sersi, Phatasos and Ajak are thinkers which is why they can't really fight deviants. Thinker Eteranls still have more power than any human or super soldier but they aren't really designed for combat situations. That's what the warriors are for.
Thats true.. he is bassicaly mix of Omni Man and Homelander in true power level with Wolverine. In powers mix... He is stronger than Thor at his peak, in comics lore. He is little bit weaker than Superman, if Ikaris want and really want hurt or kill other Ethernals, he can be based on comics only 20% weaker than Superman. That's why he is op as fuck and even Athena is joke in comparsion to him, but still she is only closest Ethernal in power level to him.... First MCU film without the appearance of any pre-Shang-Chi MCU characters
Makkari vs Ikaris scene shows makkari is overall better fighter than flash if not faster
Because while flash may be faster makari has proven to be physically stronger and tougher and has way more expirience and battle IQ than flash.
You clearly don’t know what you’re talking about.
Makkari is nowhere near as fast as the Flash
@@alexlegoboy3513DC has their speedsters throwing around Superman-level punches. So no Makkari isn't as strong as the Flash either.
@@novcane4216not in live action flash isn't that strong and even if he was hitting on superman level that isn't his strength it's his speed that gives him the extreme striking power.
He literally destroyed the ship with lasers that came out from the sun. He is too Op
I swaer Ikaris eye beams are the cleanest of any movie
I thought this movie was great, the CGI was great, cinematography was solid. Some parts of the movie were confusing. But at the end of the day I wouldn’t call this movie trash. It was mature, and had some great moments.
Unlike DCEU's superman IkarIs's flight, heat vision or his punches don't have that intensity. When Superman punches or flies, the camera shakes and shockwaves are created and his heat vision feels way more violent and hot.
cuz that's like Heat vision pretty much drains Super Man's power when used too much
mean while Ikaris can spam his Cosmic beam on his eyes and on his hands
and most of his fight are against other eternals that are able to tank those super powers
@@lag00n54 Whatever the reason might be. I'm just saying that the visual effects DC uses to show superman's attacks is better
@@GenisysPrime well I think that makes ikaris unique, his flying is a lot smoother and his heat vision feels more precise.
@@invincible5579 I agree and it also shows how much more powerful superman is as when he punches entire structure around him crumble and in zack snyder's justice league his screams alone awakened mother boxes
The creators of Eternals actually did it on purpose. They made him feel different from Superman
This battle shows why eternal was not in any fight in avenger. It would be pretty one sided.
I wish Marvel bring back Gilgamesh and Ajak because of multiverse
The CGI AND CINEMATOGRAPHY IS 🥹😍
Makkari is the best speedster fight I’ve seen in my opinion
Ikaris is such an interesting character 🔥🔥
I actually like the this movie. It was fresh and not the same main marvel heroes. Shame folks hated it. Great cast
Ikaris may be the strongest since Gilgamesh died but that kick from Thena was boss.
The MVP Here was Phastos He made them win
Why did people hate this movie it was so good as good as the first iron man dark n more serious not all comedy
even though their suits are bland you can’t lie they make it up for the action one of the best battles in the mcu
Oh look, it's the film that the MCU hasn't even recognised since it's release.
This is that one part that goes hard in a song that is otherwise complete trash. I love this scene.
As bad as people say this movie was, you gotta admit that this fight was epic
awesome
They basically made a better DC characters with better fight scenes
Makkari ate! Love her
Those rings phastos used are a lot like the 10 rings.
Bruh same...
Why? Because they look like rings?
Good one, genius.
Honestly I hope they make like a second eternals and just correct the issues. The fights are actually very cool.
Justice league should take notes. THIS is how you do speed and strength
Good work man nice video
Bro why you took out makari scream?.
Everyone during the speedster scene: “oh this man getting ate up”
honestly after seeing Ms Marvel im starting to like this movie
Warner Bros just give up the DC license and give it to Kevin Feige and Disney already. At least they know how to create great action scenes, make interesting characters, and keep a Cohesive Universe!
thats how you show a speedster. flash maker took take a note from this one
I love this fight, and I surprisingly liked this movie. Maybe because I saw all of the hate beforehand, but for me this is higher than Ant-Man 3 and Thor: Love and Thunder.
These guys bodied ikaris, so good
Superman powers divided between all of them
When I watched the movie on Disney+ and watched Ikaris turn on his own team, for me, it felt like the MCU turned this character into another Homelander from The Boys.
O camera Man sempre mais rápido que a velocista.
Am I the only person that was rooting for Ikarus? It wasn't a dumb movie that they were planning on making sequels for he should have merced so many more of them
I don’t know about everyone else but I actually liked this movie better than Shang-chi
Shang Chi was a better movie. Eternals had vastly superior individual scenes, but a worse plot and badly interconnected scenes. The fights were ten times better than Shang Chi though, I'll give you that.
@@Klokinator the plot wasn't bad at all, it would've been better if it was spread out in a series like WandaVision, since we have all these characters. The pacing was just off
@@averyj5956 yes you’re right the cgi was amazing too marvel shouldn’t have rushed so much in making this film they should’ve made a Disney plus show
@@Klokinator nah it was perfect for me
I have no idea why people hate this movie so much and are fanatics about something with the most infantile plots and no stakes like Marvel's Endgame . One deals with Gods trying to help humanity while not influencing them too much and the struggle of keeping their morals while doing that. The other is uhhh.. A powerful alien that doesn't understand biology, society, logistics, etc goes : You know what would bring peace ? If i kill half of everyone. 🤔
that is so reductive
One thing I just don't understand is how the Eternals were created to fight the Deviants but Eternals like Druig and Sprite can't even really fight them, especially Druig who is completely powerless against them... Doesn't really make sense
Because they where also designed to help humans advance.
If you asks logical questions, you won't get the movie.
This movie makes a bunch of stuff up, and then goes against that same stuff.
@@spider-man500 nah, if u think logically u will understand, all eternals have a purposes they aren't just their to kill deviants but to help humans advance, hence why earlier we see phastos making plans for technology that the humans could use because they're mission is to increase the population, not just to kill deviants, if u actually listened to the movie u would know
They were made to 1) make sure the Deviants are stopped and 2) to guide the sentient beings for enough intelligent life to exist + population growth
I love this movie ❤
When Ikaris throws Druig down and lasers him it reminds me of the injustice Superman move in the game!
Ikaris: Marvel's Superman
Idgaf what no one says Eternals was awesome rank it’s as the 3rd best movie of phase 4
I think ikari is a nerfed superman, what do you guys think?
And that's why he was better
Thats true.. he is bassicaly mix of Omni Man and Homelander in true power level with Wolverine. In powers mix... He is stronger than Thor at his peak, in comics lore. He is little bit weaker than Superman, if Ikaris want and really want hurt or kill other Ethernals, he can be based on comics only 20% weaker than Superman. That's why he is op as fuck and even Athena is joke in comparsion to him, but still she is only closest Ethernal in power level to him.... Only team up Ethernals can only slow him down, but they can't kill him...
He is like a evil version of superman
@@Build10010 He is not evil. He is just raised in another race and belive. If you see full movie, you realse, he is not evil at all. He just belive in cause of his creator.
@@killerworrier4724 you're so delusional
I love how makkari was full on combining his ass
Savitar is faster than makkari though
bro started like superman and now he thinks his homelander 💀💀
if they used half as much imagination and creativity on the story and characters themselves as they did with the special effects and fight scenes, it would have been a much better movie IMHO.
the last marvel good cgi we ever had
Another thing I noticed “Where’s Cersei?” Robb Stark is that you?
2:43 that line doesn't make any damn sense, he's clearly concerned that she may be up to something so how is he under estimating her? the dude literally went into exile solely because of her.
This would of been better if this scene had no soundtrack, it completely removes the tension.
Title should be "The most powerful eternal vs other eternals"
U have to watch this fight without the background music. Really intense
