I'll have to say getting into berea college could be as tough as getting into one of the ivies. 😢they only offer 35 international admits max world wide and take only 1 student from one region (like the whole east africa) . Over 10k international students apply annually.😮 to make your odds higher send ur application early (mid August), with the best essay (3-4pages) and a toefl score of 105+. These would atleast guarantee you a chance at berea college. Best of luck🥳

Congratulations on your admission. $500 assistantship is low but it’s a good start. Can you ask your program coordinator if they can increase your funding? You can also consider applying for open GA positions in the school. Your parents covering your deficit gives you a high chance of getting your visa approved BUT that’s just one part of the interview. You have to prepare for all areas.

You can definitely apply with your phone but it’ll be more convenient with a laptop since there are documents you’ll need to upload. That’s a good CGPA, Congratulations.
