As a young woman from a background, facing challenges like limited resources and societal expectations, Berea's commitment to providing opportunities for all is incredibly encouraging. Without Berea, many girls like me would be forced into early marriages instead of pursuing their dreams. Would’ve added that Berea College was THE first higher education institution in the South to historically accept and integrate Black students within what was an all-white student body - flag me if I’m wrong, lol. -BC ‘14 alum here 👋🏼
Semantics are interesting and concepts can be misconstrued over time. Berea was established by John G Fee with the primary focus being to educate black and white students in the same classroom. Fee was an abolitionist. BC Alum '61
Can i apply at Berea college with only Duolingo, what are my chances of being admitted, am from Nigeria.
I really want to study at Berea college, am from Zambia.. an English speaking country, i have studied all my life in English...do still need to do English proficiency tests ? Can this be waived please
No it can't, all applicants must submit one of the following test scores: SAT, IELTS or Duolingo.

They do not offer law courses as a major, but you could minor in law if you wanted.
