@@airsoftmechanicyou almost got me on my 4runner to go visit my uncle in league city… I need that 45 degrees that’s how it was during new years at Texas dyke jeti.. does it burn more gas now?
I need to do this on my 05 v6. I currently have the same codes. Driver side manifold I’m sure there’s a leak. Just wasn’t sure if I should get headers for it because I’m scared it’ll throw codes again lol how much was it for labor to install them? Great informative video.
We in the old hot rod gearhead crowd, call these shorties. Shorties are pretty much for show and no go. Oh yes, they do make it louder, but so do fart pipe mufflers.
No there's definitely performance improvements haha not just sound. This isn't a carbureted cadillac from the 70s making 108hp out of a 7 liter V8 haha
@@danksauron3172 Sounds like you have a 2003-2005 4Runner. The headers should work. But you’ll either have to relocate the transmission dipstick, move it around and work it with the headers, or not have to do anything!
Hey man where did you buy the Y pipe from??
@@DonnieNunez-e7b Got my Y-pipe from Urdusa.com. Though it’s discontinued, so you would have to look somewhere else or have one custom made
Needs a tune next, to really unleash the yota beast
The tune would help for sure
Bruh when the HELL has it been 45 F in Houston lmao
Great job on the video!
@@cbizzle2590 Around end of March was when it was still cold haha 😂 thanks mane!

Nice! Been eyeing the stuck rusty ones seem like they could use an upgrade
Owning a v6 is peaceful. Owning a V8 is something else.

Shorty headers have their purposes. As much as I want long tube headers, the cost in the long run would be very expensive

@@airsoftmechanic yes, I understand.
Seems like i have transmission dipstick on the passenger side that is very close to manifold. I'm not sure if the headders will fit becuse of that.

Hey man where did you get your y pipe and your cat back from?
Got my Y-pipe from Urdusa.com, and got my cat back exhausted from Burtmanindustries.com (both no longer in stock as I got them years ago)
